Abstract

When teaching teachers must use a variety of learning methods and learning delivery strategies so that students are motivated. But the fact is, the teacher still uses a monotonous teaching method and the delivery of learning is only limited to using a blackboard and textbooks. The purpose of this paper is written is to describe the methods and strategies for delivering learning to foster student motivation. Christ as the great teacher has accepted the disciples with all their strengths and weaknesses, and so have we as Christian teachers, therefore the Christian teacher must follow the teaching example that Christ has set. The results of these discussions indicate that the use of methods and strategies for delivering learning can increase student motivation. This is shown in the results of mentor feedback and teaching reflection. So in conclusion, the use of methods can be varied by the teacher when teaching and the use of media must also be adjusted to the needs of students so that learning objectives can be achieved, so the authors urge teachers to use creative methods and media when teaching because it can foster student motivation. / Saat mengajar guru harus menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang beragam serta strategi penyampaian pembelajaran agar siswa termotivasi. Namun faktanya, guru masih menggunakan metode mengajar yang monoton serta cara penyampaian pembelajaranpun hanya sebatas menggunakan papan tulis dan buku teks. Tujuan makalah ini ditulis adalah untuk menjabarkan metode dan strategi penyampaian pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kristus sebagai Sang Guru Agung telah menerima para murid dengan segala kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dimiliki, demikian juga kita sebagai guru Kristen. Karena itu guru Kristen harus mengikuti teladan mengajar yang telah Kristus berikan. Hasil pembahasan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode dan strategi penyampaian pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada hasil umpan balik mentor dan refleksi mengajar. Jadi kesimpulannya, penggunaan metode dapat divariasikan guru saat mengajar dan penggunaan media juga harus disesuaikan dengan pemilihan metode agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai, sehingga penulis menghimbau agar guru harus menggunakan metode dan media yang kreatif saat mengajar karena dapat menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa.
