Abstract

Motorik halus merupakan salah satu pengembangan keterampilan psikomotor yang harus dimiliki siswa sejak dini. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang peneliti lakukan selama praktikum khususnya pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan topik menulis huruf di sekolah ABC kelas K2-A, peneliti melihat bahwa hampir semua siswa belum bisa menggunakan motorik halusnya dengan baik dalam menulis huruf. Ketika peneliti meminta beberapa siswa untuk menulis huruf di depan, ternyata sebagian besar siswa tidak bisa menulis huruf sesuai yang diinstruksikan peneliti dikarenakan pergerakan motorik halus yang masih kaku. Akibatnya guru harus selalu mengulang-ulang satu huruf dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti kemudian melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan alat peraga tepung dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan motorik halus siswa dalam menulis huruf dan menerapkan langkah-langkah menggunakan alat peraga tepung dalam meningkatkan motorik halus siswa dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang berlangsung selama dua siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari 21 September 2015 hingga 09 Oktober 2015 dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas K2-A berjumlah 32 siswa. Dalam proses penelitian ini juga menggunakan beberapa instrumen diantaranya lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar worksheet, lembar rubrik dan jurnal refleksi. Berdasarkan penelitian, penggunaan alat peraga tepung dapat meningkatkan motorik halus siswa dalam menulis huruf. Ini terlihat dalam setiap ketercapaian indikator yang telah terpenuhi. Oleh sebab itu, penggunaan alat peraga tepung yang sesuai dengan langkah-langkah penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan motorik halus siswa dalam menulis pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia./ Fine motor skill is one of psychomotor skill development which is required for the students early on. Based on the observations that had been done by the researcher during the internship time, particularly in the Indonesian Language subject with topics of writing the letter in ABC School grades K2- A, researcher recognized that almost all of the students had not been able to use their fine motor skill well in writing letters. When the researcher asked some students to write letters in front of the class, it was found that most of the students could not be able to write letters according to the instruction given by the researcher because of their fine motor skill were still stiff. Therefore, the teacher should always repeat to teach one letter in a quite long time. To overcome the problem, then the researcher conducted a research by using props flour in learning. This research was conducted with the aim of increasing students‟ fine motor skill in writing letters and also to apply the steps of using props flour on increasing students‟ fine motor skill on Indonesian Language subject. The method of the research was a clasroom action research particularly the model of Kemmis and McTaggart, which had been done for two cycles. This research started from September 21 to October 09, 2015 with the subject of the research was the students of K2-A class with the amount of 32 students. During the process of this research, the researcher also used several instruments, they were the observation sheets, interview sheets, worksheets, rubrics and reflection journal sheet. Based on the result of the research, the usage of props flour teaching aid could increase students' fine motor skill in writing letters. This could be seen by the achievement of the indicators. Therefore, the usege of props flour was in accordance with steps of this research, could enhance students' fine motor skill in writing letters on Indonesian Language subject.
