Abstract

Tanggung jawab siswa memegang peranan penting dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar. Hasil observasi di kelas V pada salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta Utara menunjukkan rendahnya tanggung jawab siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Rendahnya tanggung jawab siswa ditunjukkan melalui perilaku siswa tidak menjawab pertanyaan guru jika tidak ditunjuk, siswa mengobrol dan bermain saat proses pembelajaran, siswa tidak menghargai temannya yang sedang melakukan presentasi, siswa tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru, serta siswa tidak teliti ketika mengerjakan soal atau permasalahan. Siswa merupakan pribadi yang diciptakan sesuai gambar Allah. Menjadi gambar Allah berarti siswa harus bertanggung jawab kepada Allah oleh sebab itu, siswa perlu dibimbing untuk bertumbuh dalam hal tanggung jawab. Upaya untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan upaya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam meningkatkan tanggung jawab siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif mampu menghasilkan perubahan positif meskipun tidak signifikan meningkatkan tanggung jawab siswa kelas V dalam proses pembelajaran. Penulis menyadari keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini, namun penulis menyarankan peneliti selanjutnya untuk mencatat detail setiap hasil penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif sehingga dapat mengukur keberhasilan pembelajaran kooperatif / Student responsibility plays an important role in achieving learning objectives and learning outcomes. The results of observations in class V at one of the Christian schools in North Jakarta showed the low responsibility of students in the learning process. Low student responsibility is shown through student behavior not answering teacher questions if not appointed, students chatting and playing during the learning process, students do not appreciate their friends who are doing presentations, students do not pay attention to teacher explanations, and students are not careful when working on questions or problems. Students are persons created in God's image. Being an image of God means that students must be accountable to God, therefore, students need to be guided to grow in terms of responsibility. Efforts to increase student responsibility by implementing a cooperative learning model. This study aims to explain efforts to apply the cooperative learning model in increasing student responsibility in the learning process. This study used descriptive qualitative research method. The conclusion obtained is that the application of the cooperative learning model is able to produce positive changes although it does not significantly increase the responsibility of grade V students in the learning process. The author is aware of the limitations in this study, but the author advises subsequent researchers to record the details of each outcome of applying the cooperative learning model so as to measure the success of cooperative learning.
