Abstract

Peran guru dan model pembelajaran memegang peranan penting untuk dapat mengimbangi tuntutan hidup abad ke-21. Namun kenyataannya, guru seringkali tidak menjalankan perannya dengan baik seperti menjadi pusat pembelajaran dan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat misalnya selalu menggunakan model ceramah sehingga siswa cenderung pasif. Guru harus berperan dan memilih model pembelajaran yang mampu mengaktifkan siswa. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah bagaimana peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran aktif pada abad ke-21 berdasarkan pandangan Kristen?. Oleh sebab itu, penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran aktif abad ke-21 berdasarkan pandangan Kristen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah metode kajian literatur. Peran guru Kristen sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran aktif abad ke-21 yaitu menciptakan kondisi kelas dan memberikan pelayanan terkait fasilitas yang nyaman untuk belajar, memberikan motivasi dan memicu rasa ingin tahu siswa, memfasilitasi siswa dalam segala aspek kehidupan, dan merancang metode serta strategi pengajaran yang variatif. Peran tersebut harus diikuti dengan pengintegrasian wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah sehingga siswa memiliki worldview yang benar dalam mengkonstruksikan pengetahuannya sehingga tidak terjerumus ke dalam filsafat duniawi. Kesimpulan dari proyek akhir ini adalah peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran aktif abad ke-21 dapat mengimbangi tuntutan abad ke-21. Saran penulis bagi guru yaitu model pembelajaran aktif dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan motivasi belajar siswa./The role of teachers and learning models plays a significant role in meeting the demands of the 21st century. However, in reality, teachers often do not fulfill their roles effectively, such as not acting as learning facilitators and not employing appropriate learning models, for instance, relying too heavily on the lecture model, resulting in passive students. Teachers should play a crucial role in selecting learning models that can engage students actively. The problem statement in this final project is how the role of teachers as facilitators in active learning in the 21st century is perceived from a Christian perspective. Therefore, this writing aims to examine the role of teachers as facilitators in active 21st-century learning from a Christian viewpoint. The method used in this final project is a literature review. The role of Christian teachers as facilitators in active 21st-century learning involves creating a conducive classroom environment, providing motivation and stimulating students' curiosity, facilitating students in all aspects of life, and designing diverse teaching methods and strategies. These roles should be accompanied by the integration of biblical Christian insights, so that students develop a proper worldview in constructing their knowledge, avoiding falling into worldly philosophies. The conclusion of this final project is that the role of teachers as facilitators in active 21st-century learning can meet the demands of the 21st century. The author's recommendation for teachers is to implement active learning models to enhance student engagement and motivation. Keaktifan belajar adalah kegiatan yang menitikberatkan pada perkembangan siswa secara fisik, intelektual, emosional, dan mental sehingga siswa tidak hanya sebagai penerima informasi melainkan terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Keaktifan siswa sangat penting karena mempengaruhi motivasi, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar siswa. Rendahnya keaktifan siswa terlihat dari siswa mengantuk, tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru, tidak fokus, dan tidak memiliki keberanian untuk bertanya serta mengemukakan pendapat. Penulisan proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keaktifan belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort di kelas lima SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Melalui keaktifan belajar, siswa dapat bertanggung jawab sebagai pribadi aktif yang diciptakan Tuhan dengan memiliki akal dan logika sehingga siswa dapat mengenal pencipta-Nya lebih dalam lagi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, setelah diterapkannya metode card sort rata-rata keaktifan belajar kelas lima SD meningkat dari 53,33% menjadi 80,67%. Kesimpulannya, metode pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar karena memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran sehingga setiap potensi yang ada dapat meningkat dan siswa dapat menyadari bahwa dirinya adalah Imago Dei. Saran penulis bagi peneliti selanjutnya yaitu melanjutkan penelitian mengenai penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa./Learning activeness is an activity that focuses on student development physically, intellectually, emotionally, and mentally so that students are not only recipients of information but are involved in learning. Student activeness is very important because it affects student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Low student activeness can be seen from students being sleepy, not paying attention to the teacher's explanation, not focusing, and not having the courage to ask questions and express opinions. The writing of this final project aims to describe student learning activeness through the application of card sort type active learning methods in fifth grade. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Through active learning, students can be responsible as an active person created by God by having reason and logic so that students can get to know His creator more deeply. The results showed that, after applying the card sort method, the average learning activeness of fifth grade elementary school students increased from 53.33% to 80.67%. In conclusion, the card sort type active learning method can increase learning activeness because it provides opportunities for students to be involved in learning so that every potential can increase and students can realize that they are Imago Dei. The author's suggestion for future researchers is to continue research on the application of active learning methods of card sort type to increase learning motivation.
