Abstract

Kemampuan bekerja sama sangat penting dalam pendidikan baik di luar maupun di dalam kelas. Namun peneliti menemukan pada saat diberikan kesempatan berdiskusi, siswa tidak dapat bekerja sama dengan baik yang ditunjukkan dengan kurangnya partisipasi dan kontribusi siswa dalam kelompok diskusi.Penelitian dilakukan di kelas VIII pada sebuah sekolah di Tangerang. Dalam pendidikan Kristen, kemampuan dan tuntutan untuk bekerjasama dengan baik bersumber pada Allah sendiri yang Tritunggal. Siswa sebagai manusia yang diciptakan sesuai dengan Gambar Allah memiliki dimensi sosial dan seharusnya mampu bekerja sama dengan harmonis dengan sesama siswa lain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan penerapan model pembelajaran tipe think pair share dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa dalam kelompok diskusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penerapan model pembelajaran TPS dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu think agar siswa berpikir secara mandiri, pair untuk membagikan hasil pemikiran, dan share untuk membagikan hasil diskusi bersama kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran TPS dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa dalam kelompok diskusi. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe yang lain dan dapat mengkombinasikan dengan media pembelajaran yang mendukung model pembelajaran. / The ability to work together is very important in education both outside and inside the classroom. However, the researcher found that when given the opportunity to discuss, students could not work well together as indicated by the lack of student participation and contribution in the discussion group. The research was conducted in class VIII at a school in Tangerang. In Christian education, the ability and demand to work well together comes from God Himself who is Triune. Students as human beings created in the image of God have a social dimension and should be able to work together harmoniously with other students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain the application of the think pair share learning model in developing students' cooperation skills in discussion groups. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The application of the TPS learning model is carried out with three stages, namely think so that students think independently, pair to share the results of thinking, and share to share the results of discussions with the group. The results showed that the application of the TPS learning model can develop students' cooperation skills in discussion groups. Suggestions for further research are that teachers can use other types of cooperative learning models and can combine with learning media that support learning models.
