Abstract
Keterampilan kerja sama merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa. Namun, faktanya keterampilan kerja sama siswa tergolong masih rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena pembelajaran yang dilakukan Penulis belum sepenuhnya mewujudkan kerja sama. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan Penulis dalam menghadapinya, yaitu dengan menerapkan metode diskusi. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana penerapan metode diskusi dalam mengupayakan peningkatan keterampilan kerja sama siswa kelas IV SD. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang didukung dengan jurnal, buku dan data portfolio PPL 2. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah penerapan metode diskusi di dalam proses pembelajaran dapat diterapkan untuk mengupayakan terjadinya peningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa. Siswa merupakan ciptaan Allah yang memiliki karakteristik dan keunikan masing-masing. Guru Kristen sebagai fasilitator menyediakan ruang dan kesempatan bagi siswa melalui keunikannya dapat berelasi dan membangun interaksi dengan siswa lain. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai pengaruh penerapan metode diskusi dari aspek akademis, keterampilan sosial dan motivasi belajar siswa. Saran bagi para guru agar dapat menerapkan variasi lain dari metode diskusi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa seperti metode jigsaw dan metode kooperatif yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa untuk bekerja sama. / Collaboration skills are one of the skills that students need to have. However, the fact is that students' collaboration skills are still relatively low. This happens because the learning carried out by the author has not fully realized cooperation. The efforts made by the author to deal with this are by applying the discussion method. This writing aims to explain how to apply the discussion method in improving the collaboration skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This writing uses a descriptive qualitative method which is supported by journals, books, and PPL 2 portfolio data. The results obtained show that the application of the discussion method in the learning process can be applied to strive to improve students' collaboration skills. Students are God's creations who have their own characteristics and uniqueness. Christian teachers as facilitators provide space and opportunities for students through their uniqueness to be able to relate and build interactions with other students. Suggestions for future researchers are to study more deeply the influence of applying the discussion method on academic aspects, social skills, and student learning motivation. Suggestions for teachers are to apply other variations of discussion methods to improve students' collaboration skills, such as the jigsaw method and cooperative methods which can facilitate students to work together.
