Abstract

Tantangan pendidikan pasca pandemi COVID-19 adalah penyesuaian kembali proses pembelajaran dari dalam jaringan menjadi luar jaringan. Pandemi mengakibatkan interaksi dan komunikasi murid terbatas sehingga keterampilan sosial murid berkurang. Kurangnya keterampilan sosial murid mengakibatkan murid kesulitan dalam menjalin relasi baru. Salah satu cara mengatasi permasalahan keterampilan sosial murid adalah dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penerapan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat membantu murid mengembangkan keterampilan sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan lima fokus kajian: 1) keterampilan sosial, 2) metode pembelajaran kolaboratif, 3) keterkaitan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dengan keterampilan sosial, 4) analisis data masalah keterampilan sosial murid kelas VIII dalam pembelajaran IPA, 5) analisis data metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran IPA murid kelas VIII. Metode pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan metode yang memupuk kerja sama antar murid sehingga mampu mengembangkan keterampilan sosial murid. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat membantu mengembangkan keterampilan sosial murid kelas VIII dalam pembelajaran IPA. Keberhasilan pembelajaran didukung dengan pengaturan regulasi dan manajemen kelas. Guru Kristen menjadi rekan kerja Allah dalam menuntun murid menjadi pribadi yang responsif dalam komunitas. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah guru dapat menambah strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan menyusun aktivitas kelompok yang lebih inovatif. / The challenge for education after the COVID-19 pandemic is to readjust the learning process from online to offline. The pandemic has limited student interaction and communication, resulting in reduced social skills. The lack of students' social skills makes it difficult for students to establish new relationships. One way to overcome the problem of students' social skills is by applying collaborative learning methods. The purpose of this paper is to explain how the application of collaborative learning methods can help students develop social skills. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with five study focuses: 1) social skills, 2) collaborative learning methods, 3) the relationship between collaborative learning methods and social skills, 4) data analysis of social skills problems of grade VIII students in science learning, 5) data analysis of collaborative learning methods in science learning of grade VIII students. Collaborative learning method is a method that fosters cooperation among students so as to develop students' social skills. The results showed that collaborative learning method can help develop students' social skills in class VIII in science learning. The success of learning is supported by classroom regulation and management. Christian teachers become God's partners in guiding students to become responsive individuals in the community. Suggestions for future research are that teachers can add varied learning strategies and organize more innovative group activities.
