Abstract

Konsentrasi belajar merupakan hal penting karena menjadi salah satu penentu dalam tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Konsentrasi belajar sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran termasuk dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. Selama observasi ditemukan fakta yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa tidak berkonsentrasi pada saat belajar IPAS. Hal ini memperlihatkan tidak terpenuhinya 5 indikator konsentrasi belajar: siswa dapat memperhatikan secara aktif setiap materi, mengikuti instruksi yang diberikan guru dengan baik, dapat merespon pertanyaan dengan benar, tertib dan tidak gaduh saat kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung, dan tidak malas menyelesaikan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan model CTL dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPAS di SD kelas IV dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui data observasi, RPP, refleksi, feedback mentor, lembar ceklist siswa, dan lembar ceklist mentor. Ada 7 langkah- langkah penerapan CTL yaitu; konstruktivisme, inkuiri, bertanya, masyarakat-belajar, pemodelan, refleksi, dan penilaian autentik. Dengan penerapan tersebut maka diperoleh hasil bahwa CTL dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa secara signifikan. Konsentrasi siswa dari yang semula 30,47% menjadi 83,82% pada pertemuan 1, 97,15% pada pertemuan 2, dan 96,19% pada pertemuan 3. Saran bagi peneliti berikutnya, untuk dapat membahas lebih lanjut mengenai topik paper ini, dengan mempersiapkan alat peraga dengan matang sebagai penunjang dalam menerapkan CTL./ Studying concentration is an important aspect of the learning process because it is one of the determining factors in achieving learning goals. Learning concentration is highly required in various subjects, including IPAS. During the observation, facts were found indicating that students were not concentrating during the IPAS learning sessions. This demonstrates the failure to meet the five indicators of learning concentration, which are: students actively pay attention to each material, follow the teacher's instructions well, respond by answering the teacher's questions correctly, maintain order and quietness during teaching and learning activities, and do not procrastinate in completing tasks. This study aims to explain the implementation of the CTL model in improving students' learning concentration in IPAS lessons grade four elementary school using a qualitative descriptive method through observation data, lesson plans, reflection, mentor feedback, student checklist sheets, and mentor checklist sheets. There are 7 steps in the 2 implementation of CTL: constructivism, inquiry, questioning, community-learning, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. Through the implementation, it is found that CTL can significantly improve students' concentration. Student concentration increased from 30.47% initially to 83.82% in the first meeting, 97.15% in the second meeting, and 96.19% in third meeting. Suggestion for future researchers is to further explore the topic of this paper by preparing teaching aids thoroughly to support the implementation of CTL.
