Abstract

Keaktifan siswa menjadi salah satu indikator keberhasilan pembelajaran. Melalui keaktifan siswa, tujuan pembelajaran juga dapat tercapai dengan baik. Pada kenyataannya di salah satu sekolah Kristen Jakarta, siswa kelas VII masih memiliki tingkat keaktifan yang rendah. Hal tersebut terlihat dari data beberapa indikator seperti belum adanya keinginan untuk mengajukan pertanyaan, memberikan respons, mengantuk pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, dan mengobrol pada saat guru menjelaskan materi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dibutuhkan model problem based learning yang menekankan pada identifikasi masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, dan mencari solusi dari masalah yang disajikan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka tujuan dari penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan langkah penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning yang dapat mengupayakan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menganalisis data untuk menggambarkan kondisi yang terjadi di lapangan. Keaktifan siswa merupakan bagian dalam pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran. Guru harus melihat siswa sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah yang telah jatuh ke dalam dosa sehingga melalui pembelajaran guru membantu mentransformasi siswa. Roh Kudus yang akan membantu memulihkan untuk semakin sesuai dengan firman Tuhan melalui pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan model problem based learning yang dapat mengupayakan keaktifan siswa adalah guru memberikan stimulus masalah melalui video, guru membentuk siswa dalam beberapa kelompok, guru memberikan instruksi kegiatan belajar yaitu identifikasi masalah dan solusi, perwakilan setiap kelompok mempresentasikan hasil diskusinya, dan guru mengevaluasi hasil diskusi yang telah dipresentasikan. Peneliti memberi saran kepada peneliti selanjutnya agar dalam menerapkan model problem based learning dapat mencari lebih dalam mengenai hasil penelitian tentang model pembelajaran problem based learning dan keaktifan siswa. / Student activity is an indicator of learning success. Through student activity, learning objectives can also be achieved well. In fact, in one of the Jakarta Christian schools, class VII students still have a low level of activity. This can be seen from the data on several indicators, such as the lack of desire to ask questions, provide responses, being sleepy during learning, and chatting when the teacher explains the material. To overcome this, a problem based learning model is needed which emphasizes identifying problems, gathering information, and finding solutions to the problems presented. Based on these conditions, the aim of writing this research is to explain the steps for implementing the problem based learning model which can increase student activity in social studies subjects. The research method used in this writing is a descriptive qualitative method that analyzes data to describe conditions that occur in the field. Student activity is a part of learning that is able to develop students' understanding of learning. Teachers must see students as the image and likeness of God who has fallen into sin so that through learning the teacher helps transform students. The Holy Spirit will help restore us to be more in accordance with God's word through study. It can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model that can encourage student activity is that the teacher provides problem stimulus through video, the teacher forms students into several groups, the teacher provides instructions for learning activities, namely problem identification and solutions, representatives of each group present the results of their discussions, and the teacher evaluates the results of the discussions. which has been presented. The researcher gives advice to future researchers so that when applying the problem based learning model they can look more deeply into the results of research on the problem based learning model and student activity.
