Abstract

Minat belajar siswa merupakan salah satu pendorong siswa dalam belajar. Namun, fakta yang ditemukan saat ini yaitu rendahnya minat belajar siswa. Tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah untuk memaparkan hasil minat belajar siswa kelas II SD melalui desain media pembelajaran powerpoint. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan paper ini yaitu deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain media powerpoint menjadi salah satu cara efektif dalam mengembangkan minat belajar siswa kelas II SD. Maka dari itu, guru perlu diperhatikan yaitu mempersiapkan media powerpoint dengan baik dan maksimal serta sesuai dengan tujuan dari pendidikan Kristen. Saran bagi guru, selain desain media powerpoint, guru dapat mengidentifikasi solusi lain yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan minat belajar siswa di dalam kelas. Kata Kunci: Minat belajar, media pembelajaran, powerpoint./The interest of students in learning is one of the drivers for them to engage in their studies. However, the current fact found is the low level of students' interest in learning. The purpose of writing this paper is to present the results of using PowerPoint media in developing students' interest in learning. The method used in writing this paper is qualitative description. The results of the research indicate that the use of PowerPoint media is one effective way to develop the learning interest of 2nd grade elementary school students. Therefore, it is important for teachers to prepare PowerPoint media well and effectively, in accordance with the goals of Christian education. A suggestion for teachers is that, in addition to PowerPoint media, they can identify other solutions that can be used to enhance students' interest in learning inside the classroom.
