Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran menjadi sarana yang dapat menentukan keberhasilan belajar. Pemilihan strategi ditentukan juga oleh latar belakang murid dan sekolah. Murid di kelas yang penulis amati berjumlah 28, berasal dari latar belakang yang berbeda, serta memiliki kemampuan matematika yang berbeda. Kemampuan matematika yang berbeda ini sangat memengaruhi murid dalam memahami materi yang diberikan guru, khususnya pada unit tiga di pelajaran matematika ini murid mempelajari operasi hitung campuran. Pembelajaran di unit ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika, tetapi juga untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pentingnya keseimbangan, proporsi yang tepat, ketelitian, dan kesadaran spiritual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta hubungan antara manusia dengan Tuhan dan sesama sebagai bentuk keteraturan Allah. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan unit ini adalah strategi inkuiri menurut Kath Murdoch. Strategi inkuiri digunakan untuk mendorong murid kelas III SD DHB belajar dengan lebih aktif untuk mencari informasi materi dan membangun pengetahuannya sendiri. Penulis menggunakan tes tertulis, lembar kuesioner dan melakukan wawancara dengan murid untuk mengukur tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran unit ini menggunakan strategi inkuiri. Selain itu, sebelum menerapkan strategi ini murid diberikan soal pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal murid sebelum memulai unit. Hasil belajar murid menggunakan metode ini masih perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep materi dan kemampuan pra-syarat unit murid. Oleh karena itu, untuk memaksimalkan penerapan strategi ini guru perlu memperkuat konsep pra-syarat unit terlebih dahulu dan memberikan metode belajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan murid. / Learning strategies are a tools that can determine the success of learning. The choice of strategy is also influenced by the student's and schools’ background. The students observed in the class amounted to 28, originating from diverse backgrounds and having different mathematical abilities. These differing mathematical abilities significantly influence students in understanding the material provided by the teacher, especially in unit three of this mathematics lesson where students learn mixed counting operations. Learning in this unit not only aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts but also to provide a deep understanding of the importance of balance, correct proportions, precision, and spiritual awareness in daily life, as well as the relationship between humans and God, and each other as a form of God’s order. The strategy used to teach this unit is the inquiry strategy according to Kath Murdoch. This strategy is used to encourage students from class 3A SD DHB to learn more actively by seeking information on the material and constructing their own knowledge. The author uses written tests, questionnaire sheets and conducts interviews with students to measure the achievement of the learning objectives of this unit using inquiry strategies. In addition, before implementing this strategy, students are given pre-test questions to measure students' initial understanding before starting the unit. Student learning outcomes using this method still need to be improved. This is influenced by the students' lack of understanding of the concept of the material and the pre-requisite skill of the unit. Therefore, to maximize the implementation of this strategy, teachers need to reinforce the concept of unit pre-requisites first and provide learning methods according to students' needs.
