Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya nilai penguasaan konsep, sikap ilmiah, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, sikap ilmiah, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus pembelajaran dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa dalam satu kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep dan rubrik penilaian untuk mengukur sikap ilmiah dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai penguasaan konsep pada siklus satu yaitu 60,4, pada siklus dua yaitu 76,5, dan pada siklus tiga menjadi 85,3. Peningkatan rata-rata nilai sikap ilmiah pada siklus satu yaitu 65,3, pada siklus dua yaitu 73,5, dan pada siklus tiga menjadi 83,7. Peningkatan rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siklus satu yaitu 69,9, pada siklus dua yaitu 73,2, dan pada siklus tiga menjadi 85,8. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Somatis Auditori Visual Intelektual dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, sikap ilmiah, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas V SD di Jakarta. / This research is motivated by the low value of mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes, and critical thinking skills in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the Intellectual Visual Auditory Somatic learning model in improving the mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes, and critical thinking skills in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is a classroom action research study consisting of three learning cycles with stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students in one class. The instrument used was a test to measure mastery of concepts and an assessment rubric to measure scientific attitudes and critical thinking skills. The results showed an increase in the average value of mastery of concepts in cycle one is 60.4, in the second cycle is 76.5, and in the third cycle to 85.3. The increase in the average value of scientific attitudes in the first cycle is 65.3, in the second cycle is 73.5, and in the third cycle to 83.7. The increase in the average value of critical thinking skills in cycle one is 69.9, in cycle two is 73.2, and in cycle three it becomes 85.8. It can be concluded that the Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual Auditory learning model can improve the mastery of concepts, scientific attitudes, and critical thinking skills in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school students in Jakarta.
