Abstract

Implementasi Wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah (WKA) dalam pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya guru untuk memberitakan keutamaan Kristus pada bidang ilmu yang diajarkan. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada sebuah sekolah Kristen di Jakarta, ditemukan bahwa tidak terjadi implementasi WKA dalam aktivitas pembelajaran yang berdampak pada ketidakmampuan siswa untuk melihat keterkaitan antara materi yang dipelajari dengan kebenaran Alkitab. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, pada kesempatan mengajar di kelas VII mata pelajaran Fisika diterapkan model Bryan Smith tahap 2 sebagai bentuk implementasi WKA dalam pembelajaran. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan analisis model integrasi Bryan Smith tahap 2 sebagai implementasi WKA dalam pembelajaran fisika menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model integrasi Bryan Smith tahap 2 efektif sebagai implementasi WKA dalam pembelajaran Fisika yang dapat terlihat dari refleksi siswa yang menunjukkan kemampuan untuk menjelaskan keterkaitan antara topik yang dipelajari dengan WKA. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru dapat menjalankan perannya dalam mengimplementasikan WKA dalam pembelajaran Fisika dengan baik sesuai dengan tahap 2 model integrasi Bryan Smith yang ditunjukkan dari respon yang baik dari siswa melalui kemampuan menuliskan refleksi keterkaitan topik yang dipelajari dengan WKA. Melalui tulisan ini disarankan agar guru Kristen dapat secara bertanggung jawab untuk mengintegrasikan WKA di dalam pembelajaran secara konsisten / The implementation of Biblical Christian Worldview (BCW) in the learning process is one of the teachers' efforts to preach the preeminence of Christ in every knowledge fields. Based on observations at a Christian school in Jakarta, there had been found that there was no BCW implementation in learning activities which also had an impact on students' inability to see the relationship between the knowledge learned and the truth of the Bible and its implications for student’s everyday life. Responding to these problems, on the opportunity to teach in physics class grade VII, the Bryan Smith integration model stage 2 is applied as a form of BCW implementation in the learning process. This final project aims to discuss an analysis of Bryan Smith's Stage 2 Biblical integration model as the implementation of BCW in learning Physics using qualitative descriptive methodolgy. The result of the discussion show that implementation of the Bryan Smith integration model stage 2 is effective as the implementation of BCW in physics learning which can be seen from the results of students' reflections that show the ability to explain the relationship between the topics studied and BCW. Thus it can be concluded that the teacher can carry out his role in implementing WKA in learning Physics properly according to stage 2 of Bryan Smith's integration model which is shown from the good response of students through the ability to write reflections on the relationship of topics studied with WKA. Through this paper, it is suggested that Christian teachers can be responsible for continuing to integrate BCW in learning process consistently.
