Abstract
The research was conducted through a survey to a private school in Jakarta
from August 2017 to April 2018, this study investigates how relevant indicators
of teachers‟ work commitment with (self-efficacy and job satisfaction) are
related. Teacher commitment is an internal force that derives teachers to invest
more time and energy in keeping up involvement in the school. Self-efficacy and
job satisfaction play a key influencing role in the relationships between the
indicators A total of 53 teachers working in a private school were asked to
participate in this survey. A questionnaire was used to collect the data of each
variable. Descriptive and Inferential statistical analyses of correlation were used to
analyze the data by using PLS-SEM. The results explicitly specified that the two
latent variables self-efficacy and job satisfaction moderately explain 55% of the
variance in work commitment. This implies the need to consider the teachers selfefficacy, job satisfaction, and in the strategic plan to improve their work
commitment. The present study contributes to the further development of XYZ
school. / Penelitian ini mencari pengaruh efikasi diri dan kepuasan kerja terhadap
komitmen kerja guru di Sekolah XYZ Jakarta. Mengetahui Kepuasan Kerja
terhadap Komitmen Kerja Guru di Sekolah XYZ Jakarta. Selanjutnya mengetahui
Efikasi diri dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Komitmen Kerja Guru Sekolah XYZ
Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survei dalam
bentuk studi deskriptif. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk menguji terdapat
pengaruh dua variabel bebas terhadap satu variabel terikat. Sampel guru dipilih
sebanyak 53 guru dari jumlah populasi guru di Sekolah XYZ Jakarta.
Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan penyebaran angket. Analisis data dengan
metode PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling) dengan
bantuan Smartpls versi 20.0 penelitian dilaksananan pada tanggal Agustus 2017
sampai dengan April 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pengaruh Efikasi Diri
dan Kepuasan Kerja memberikan kontribusi positif sebesar 55% terhadap variabel
Komitmen Kerja Guru Sekolah XYZ di Jakarta Barat.
