Abstract

As transformation agents, teachers need to understand their identity as relational-spirit being. Teachers need to see their spiritual life as an inseparable part of their service life in education. Spiritual discipline is an activity that help teachers in promoting their personal relationship with God and neighbors. It also affects their serving life as people transformation agents. Principal as the leader of teachers has a big role in helping teacher’s spiritual growth. But looking through a significant regulation of principal change-over, the existence of a sistematic and condusive school organizational climate is vital in order for teacher’s spiritual growth to keep on going even during that principal change-over regulation. Principal as an transformational needs to make sure there is a condusive organizational climate for teacher to growth spiritually. Therefore, this research wants to find the significance of the impact of principal transformational leadership directly towards teacher spiritual discipline compare to its impact towards teacher spiritual discipline indirectly through school organizational climate. This research uses quantitative method with 39 respondents. This research gather the data using questionnaire and analyze the data using descriptive analysis, regression method. Result shows that the positive impact of principal transformational leadership directly towards teacher spiritual discipline (path analyze 131,188 and R2 0,891) is smaller compare to its impact indirectly through school organizational climate (path analyze 1191,966and R2 0,940)./ Sebagai agen perubahan yang memanusiakan manusia, guru perlu memahami identitasnya sebagai makhluk rohani berelasi. Guru perlu melihat kehidupan kerohaniannya sebagai bagian yang tidak terlepas dari kehidupan pelayanan dalam pendidikan. Kedisiplinan rohani merupakan suatu aktivitas yang membantu guru dalam mengembangkan kehidupan relasinya bersama dengan Tuhan maupun sesama ciptaanNya. Hal ini juga memengaruhi kehidupan pelayanannya sebagai agen penggerak manusia. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran besar dalam membantu pertumbuhan rohani guru. Namun melihat regulasi pergantian kepala sekolah yang cukup besar, adanya sebuah iklim organisasi sekolah yang sistematis dan baik sangatlah penting sehingga pertumbuhan rohani guru tetap dapat terjadi seiring pergantian pemimpin tersebut. Kepala sekolah sebagai pribadi yang berkepemimpinan transformational perlu untuk memastikan adanya iklim organisasi yang baik demi pertumbuhan kedisiplinan rohani guru. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational kepala sekolah secara langsung terhadap kedisiplinan rohani guru dibandingkan dengan pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational kepala sekolah terhadap kedisiplinan rohani guru melalui iklim organisasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 39 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner serta analisis deksriptif dan regresi berganda untuk menganalisis data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh positif secara langsung kepemimpinan transformational kepala sekolah terhadap kedisiplinan rohai guru (nilai jalur 131,388 dan R2 0,891 ) lebih kecil dibandingkan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui iklim organisasi sekolah (nilai jalur 1191,966 dan R2 0,940).
