Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. In this study, testing and analyze Work Discipline has influence Employee Performance in PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. The theory used in this study is related to the theory of work discipline and employee performance. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population amounted to 62 employees and sample in the study amounted to 62 employees. This study uses a sensus sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. From the researched hypothesis shows that the hypothesis is accepted. The significant value 0.000 <0.05, then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Work Discipline influence Employee Performance in PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. The results of simple regression, it was obtained a simple or single correlation coefficient (R) of 0.773 for the work discipline variable on the employee performance variable. This coefficient shows the level of relationship or correlation between wo rk discipline as the independent variable on the employee performance variable as the dependent variable. The R value of 0.773 indicates a high relationship between work discipline and employee performance variables.Based on the output, the R square number is 0.598 or 59.8%. This shows that the presentation of the contribution of the influence of work discipline on employee performance is 59.8%. This means that the independent variable is able to explain 59.8% of the dependent variable while the remaining 40.2% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the model. The conclusion in this study that there is the Work Discipline influence Employee Performance in PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan./ Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. Dalam penelitian ini menguji dan menganalisis Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori promosi jabatan dan kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan. Populasi berjumlah 62 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 62 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel untuk diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala likert. Dari hipotesis yang diteliti menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Nilai signifikansi 0,000 <0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan. Hasil regresi sederhana diperoleh koefisien korelasi sederhana atau tunggal (R) sebesar 0,773 untuk variabel disiplin kerja terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai. Koefisien ini menunjukkan tingkat hubungan atau korelasi antara disiplin kerja sebagai variabel bebas terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat. Nilai R sebesar 0,773 menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang tinggi antara variabel disiplin kerja dengan kinerja karyawan, berdasarkan output diperoleh angka R square sebesar 0,598 atau 59,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyajian kontribusi pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 59,8%. Artinya variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 59,8% variabel dependen sedangkan 40,2% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT. Rimba Mujur Mahkota Medan.
