Abstract
Covid-19 has caused numerous shifts in all aspects of human activities, particularly in early childhood education. Many schools have been forced to re-think the way they deliver instruction to their students by maintaining the good quality. One way that is proved popular worldwide is by distance learning, offering ways for the students to learn independently. However, each student is usually accompanied by an adult. The research design implemented in this study was a case study, involving a student and his parents. The instruments chosen to collect the data were the observations, interviews and some documentations. The outcomes of this study have indicated that parents bring a positive influence in the learning processes of the child, as demonstrated by the facts that the only subject managed to have good self-discipline, reasoning skills, and active engagements during the classes. Despite the positive results, there are some aspects that must be considered in maintaining a good level of e-learning, namely: sustaining the child’s focus at the highest level while dealing with the ever-changing emotional states of the child as well as other distractions resulting from studying from home. Nonetheless, with the parents' good participations, those negative aspects were still manageable and the child eventually improved as expected/Covid-19 telah mengakibatkan perubahan di dalam segala aspek aktivitas manusia, khususnya pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Banyak sekolah terpaksa memikirkan kembali cara mereka menyampaikan pengajaran kepada siswa mereka dengan menjaga kualitas yang baik. Salah satu cara yang terbukti populer di seluruh dunia adalah dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh, menawarkan cara bagi siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri. Namun, setiap siswa biasanya didampingi oleh orang dewasa. Desain penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, dengan melibatkan siswa dan orang tuanya. Instrumen yang dipilih untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan hasil dokumen belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua membawa pengaruh positif dalam proses belajar anak, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh fakta bahwa satu-satunya subjek berhasil memiliki disiplin diri yang baik, keterampilan penalaran, dan keterlibatan aktif selama kelas. Terlepas dari hasil yang positif, ada beberapa aspek yang harus diperhatikan dalam mempertahankan pembelajaran jarak jauh yang baik, yaitu: mempertahankan fokus anak pada tingkat tertinggi sambil menghadapi keadaan emosi anak yang selalu berubah serta gangguan lainnya. dihasilkan dari belajar dari rumah. Namun dengan peran serta orang tua yang baik, aspek negatif tersebut masih dapat diatasi dan anak akhirnya berkembang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan
