Abstract

"The aim of this study is to obtain an overview of teacher experiences in adapting distance learning. Learn what teachers can be doing to improve distance learning. Get an understanding of how teachers support distance learning. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological study, which is used to explore the description of information about the experiences of teachers while adapting distance learning due to the impact of the COVID pandemic by collecting observational data, interviews, and questionnaires for research respondents consisting of elementary school principals, elementary school curriculum representatives, representatives of elementary school students, 3 representatives of elementary school teachers in grades 1,2,3, 1 representative of elementary school teachers for grade 4A, 1 representative of elementary school teachers for grade 5A with the initials X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9. The results of this study indicate that teachers understand the context of online learning, but in their implementation, different problems are found, which make teachers feel incompetent and pressured in conducting distance learning. Teachers experience pressure of change which has an impact on many obstacles because the facilities for conducting distance learning are not adequate. Communication and interaction between teachers, students and parents is not effective during learning activities. Teachers are under pressure to conform. There are teachers who are willing to accept change and willing to do more. But there are teachers who are apathetic and do what they can to the best of their ability." / "Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran pengalaman para guru dalam mengadaptasi pembelajaran jarak jauh. Mendapatkan informasi yang guru bisa lakukan agar pembelajaran jarak jauh bisa berjalan lebih efektif. Memperoleh gambaran dukungan apa yang diperlukan oleh para guru agar pembelajaran jarak jauh bisa lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif studi fenomenologi, yang digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi gambaran informasi tentang pengalaman guru-guru selama mengadaptasi pembelajaran jarak jauh akibat dampak pandemi COVID dengan pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner terhadap responden penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah SD, wakil kurikulum SD, wakil kesiswaan SD, 3 wakil guru SD kelas 1,2,3, 1 wakil guru SD kelas 4A, 1 wakil guru SD kelas 5A dengan inisial X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami konteks pembelajaran online, tetapi dalam implementasinya ditemukan masalah yang berbeda, yang membuat guru merasa tidak kompeten dan tertekan dalam melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Guru mengalami tekanan perubahan yang berdampak pada banyak kendala karena fasilitas untuk melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh tidak memadai. Komunikasi dan interaksi antara guru, siswa dan orang tua tidak efektif selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru berada di bawah tekanan untuk menyesuaikan. Ada guru yang bersedia menerima perubahan dan mau untuk berbuat lebih banyak. Tetapi ada guru yang apatis dan hanya mau melakukan sekedar yang mereka bisa saja."
