Abstract
This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) where this research is derived from the concerns of researchers in kindergarten class A. Researcher see the need for more enjoyable learning activities, so students can learn more enthusiastically. After going through self reflection, the researcher looks for alternative solutions that can be used. Researchers search from various sources, so the method of playing using media puzzles is considered appropriate to be applied. This study aims to (1) describe the process of applying puzzle playing methods in learning activities to increase learning motivation, social skills and cognitive abilities of kindergarten students, (2) Analyze the development of children's learning motivation during the application of puzzle-playing methods, (3) socially during the application of the puzzle playing method, (4) Analyzing the development of cognitive abilities during the application of the puzzle playing method, (5) Describing any constraints that occur during the process of applying this method of playing with the media puzzle. Data is collected through observation and analysis. The results showed an increase in learning motivation, social skills and cognitive abilities of kindergarten students at XYZ school, Tangerang. / Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di mana penelitian ini bersumber dari kerisauan peneliti di kelas TK A. Peneliti melihat perlu adanya kegiatan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan agar siswa dapat belajar dengan lebih antusias. Setelah melalui refleksi diri, maka peneliti mencari alternatif solusi yang dapat digunakan. Peneliti mencari dari berbagai sumber, maka metode bermain menggunakan media puzzle dianggap tepat untuk diterapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menderkripsikan proses penerapan metode bermain puzzle dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterampilan sosial dan kemampuan kognitif anak TK A, (2) Menganalisis perkembangan motivasi belajar anak selama penerapan metode bermain puzzle, (3) Menganalisis perkembangan keterampilan sosial selama penerapan metode bermain puzzle, (4) Menganalisis perkembangan kemampuan kognitif selama penerapan metode bermain puzzle, (5)Mendeskripsikan hambatan apa saja yang terjadi selama proses penerapan metode bermain dengan media puzzle ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar, keterampilan sosial dan kemampuan kognitif siswa TK A sekolah XYZ, Tangerang.
