Abstract

Salah satu cara mewujudkan proses pembelajaran yang efektif adalah dengan cara menggunakan video sebagai media pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua desain video mampu mewujudkan proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Untuk itu, penulis ingin mengkaji tentang “bagaimana desain video pembelajaran TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) untuk proses pembelajaran siswa kelas IX?”. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui desain video pembelajaran TIK untuk proses pembelajaran siswa kelas IX. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus kajian yaitu pembelajaran yang efektif, media video pembelajaran, hubungan video pembelajaran dengan proses pembelajaran yang efektif, analisis proses pembelajaran melalui desain video. Seorang guru khususnya guru Kristen harus merancang proses pembelajaran dengan sungguh-sungguh. Desain video pembelajaran haruslah memuat unsur yang kompleks dalam setiap elemen video. Pertama, elemen cognitive load mengandung unsur signalling, segmenting, matching modallity. Kedua, elemen student engagement membuat durasi video padat, berbahasa formal, berlaku universal, dan menambahkan unsur kemenarikan. Ketiga, elemen active learning membuat video menampilkan ilustrasi konsep dengan contoh nyata, berhati-hati dalam menggunakan kata-kata dan gambar, dan menambahkan unsur yang memfokuskan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui desain tersebut diperoleh data bahwa proses komunikasi berlangsung secara aktif, tingkat respon antusias siswa meningkat 8%, dan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM meningkat sebesar 28%, dengan kenaikan nilai rata-rata 6,52%. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk fokus pada penerapan metode video-based learning./One of the ways to create an effective learning process is by using video as the learning medium. However, every learning video design could not create an effective learning process. For this reason, the author wants to examine "how to design ICT learning videos for the learning process of class IX students?". This paper aims to know the design of an ICT learning video for a grade IX student. This research is using descriptive qualitative methodology that discusses sub focuses which are effective learning, learning video media, the relationship of learning video and effective learning process, the analysis of learning process through the video design. A teacher, especially a Christian teacher, must design the learning process seriously. The instructional video design must contain complex elements in each video element. First, the cognitive load element contains elements of signalling, segmenting, and matching modality. Second, the student engagement element makes the video duration dense, informal language, applies universally and adds an element of interest. Third, the active learning element makes videos displaying concept illustrations with real examples, being careful in using words and pictures, and adding elements that focus students in the learning process. Through this design, it was obtained data that the communication process took place actively, the enthusiastic response rate of students increased by 8%, and the number of students who achieved the KKM score increased by 28%, with an average increase of 6,52%. Further research is suggested to focus on the application of video-based learning methods.
