Abstract

Attention and motivation are integral parts in learning and teaching process, and both are claimed contributing students’ learning outcomes. Along with this theory, some phenomena happened in researcher’s classroom however the researcher needs to find out the truth behind this through scientific measurement and explanation. This study is aimed to find out the effect of attention and motivation in math learning outcomes for grade 2 students. The population of the research is 58 students Grade 2 in SD Gunung 01 Kebayoran Baru South Jakarta. Attention rubric, motivation questionnaires and also math score become the instruments in collecting the data. Researcher uses doubled regression test to measure the effect of attention and motivation, and fulfills the requirements for classical measurement before regression test such as normality test, homogeneity test and multikolenieritas test. The results are 1. Attention affects students’ math learning outcomes about 45%. 2. Motivation does not affect the students’ math learning outcomes. And 3. Attention and motivation affect the students’ math learning outcomes about 46 %. / Atensi dan motivasi siswa dalam proses belajar erat kaitannya karena keduanya dianggap penting dalam proses belajar. Namun apakah kedua faktor ini memang penting dan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hal inilah yang mendorong peneliti untuk membuktikannya secara scientific. Lalu, merujuk kegiatan belajar di dalam kelas, tidaklah bisa dipungkiri setiap individu siswa yang datang ke kelas memiliki motivasi, baik itu dari dirinya atau dari luar dirinya. Kemudian, atensi setiap siswa juga memengaruhi siswa dalam menyerap informasi dan bagaimana mereka memahami apa yang didapat tercermin dalam assessment.Penilaian digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengukur prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan unutk mencari apakah motivasi dan atensi siswa memengaruhi prestasi belajar Matematika Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 58 siswa kelas 2 SD Gunung 01 Pagi Kebayoran Baru.. Metode penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda dimana ada tiga instrumen yang digunakan yakni rubrik atensi, kuesioner motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika. Uji prasyarat analisis data dengan 3 uji, normalitas, homogenitas dan multikolenieritas yang digunakan untuk selanjutnya dilakukan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menjawab 3 rumusan masalah yakni 1. Ada pengaruh atensi terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 45%, 2. Motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dan 3. Atensi dan motivasi secara bersamaan memengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 46%.
