Abstract
Indonesia’s government has shown efforts to support entrepreneurial activity by establishing new laws and regulations. University X is a university that provides Entrepreneurship as one of the concentration student in the study program of Management can choose from. In 2019, Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and Culture requires educational institution in certain areas to implement ‘Learning from Home’. Since then, many universities switch to online learning, including University X. This research was conducted with the goal of studying the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in University X that was done through online learning. Qualitative method is used for this research and the data collection is done through interviewing students and lecturers of University X’s entrepreneurship concentration. The data analysis is done using NVivo software and result shows that entrepreneurship education in University X is considered effective enough to impart new knowledge and skills to student but there are still room for improvement. The result showed the student and entrepreneurship course delivery are the two major factor of the effectiveness. Student engagement and outside factors impacts the students while learning and mentoring process and seminars impacts the entrepreneurship course delivery./ Pemerintah Indonesia telah menunjukkan upaya untuk mendukung kegiatan kewirausahaan dengan menetapkan undang-undang dan peraturan baru. Universitas X merupakan universitas yang memberi opsi Kewirausahan sebagai salah satu konsentrasi pilihan untuk mahasiswa di program studi Management. Pada tahun 2019, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia mewajibkan lembaga pendidikan di daerah tertentu untuk menerapkan peraturan ‘Belajar dari Rumah’. Sejak saat itu, banyak perguruan tinggi yang beralih ke pembelajaran online, termasuk Universitas X. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mempelajari efektivitas pendidikan kewirausahaan di Universitas X yang dilakukan melalui pembelajaran online. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan mahasiswa dan dosen si konsentrasi kewirausahaan Universitas X. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software NVivo dan hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan di Universitas X dianggap cukup efektif dalam memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru kepada mahasiswa tetapi masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dan penyampaian mata kuliah kewirausahaan merupakan dua faktor utama efektivitas. Keterlibatan siswa dan faktor luar berdampak pada siswa, sedangkan proses pengajaran dan bimbingan dan seminar berdampak pada penyampaian kursus kewirausahaan.
