Abstract
It is a challenge for many organizations to have employees who have the potential
to become leaders who can continue the flow of the organization in the future by
carrying out transformations to compete in the face of demands in a world that is
no longer static, the occurrence of technological disruption that is very rapid in
recent years in the banking world.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning agility in determining
high potential leaders with career progression and job performance as the
mediators. This research was conducted on 175 Branch Managers who are
currently still active as employees working at PT Bank XXX. Using secondary data
that is owned by PT Bank XXX but has never been tested before, it is analyzed
using the structural equation modelling method, the Smart-PLS application. The
study shows that the career progression, job performance and learning agility
variables partially have a positive influence on the determination of high potential
leaders, and together they have an R-square effect of 63.1%. The study also shows
that career progression and job performance variables play a positive role as a
mediator of the influence of learning agility in determining high-potential leaders.
Furthermore, it is suggested that there is a need for research which includes other
variables that might be able to complete the test of variables such as career
progression, job performance, and learning agility in their influence on high
potential leaders.
berpotensi tinggi.
