Abstract

Every Company want to have employees who are ability and performance well in company. Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Medan decreased job satisfaction of employees who are due compensation and training. The aim of this research is to investigate compensation and training have influence on employees’job satisfaction at Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Medan. Compensation and job training have an important role in shaping employees’job satisfaction. With employees’job satisfaction then will have a level of good discipline and turnover rates low. In this research, the writer used quantitative reseach design and IBM SPSS statistics V. 25. The writer used descriptive and causal research. The sampling technique used is census sampling method. The population will be all of the employees, 132 employee and sample amounted to 100 employees at Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Medan. The result of hypothesis test, compensation and training have influence on employees’job satisfaction, either partial and simultaneous. Furthermore, compensation and training have 34.6% effect on employees’job satisfaction. This research also passed the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test and the equation is Y=13.187 + 0.155 X1 + 0.273 X2. Recommendations for the company include applying payroll system for payments to employee and selection of instructors that provide the training that is easily understood and can develop the skills of the employees/Setiap perusahaan ingin memiliki karyawan yang memiliki kemampuan dan kinerja baik di perusahaan. Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Medan menurun kepuasan pekerjaan karyawan yang karena kompensasi dan pelatihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kompensasi dan pelatihan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kompensasi dan pelatihan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dengan kepuasan karyawan maka akan memiliki tingkat disiplin yang baik dan tingkat turnover karyawan rendah. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan kuantitatif reseach desain dan IBM SPSS statistik V 25. peneliti digunakan penelitian deskriptif dan kausal. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah metode sensus sampling. Populasi akan menjadi semua karyawan, 132 karyawan dan sampel yang berjumlah 100 karyawan di Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, Medan. Hasil dari tes hipotesis, kompensasi dan pelatihan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, baik parsial dan simultan. Selain itu, kompensasi dan pelatihan memiliki 34,6% pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini juga melewati uji validitas, uji relabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, analisis regresi linear berganda dan persamaan adalah Y = 13.155 X1 + 0.273 x2. Rekomendasi dari perusahaan ini adalah menerapkan sistem payroll untuk pembayran kepada karyawan dan seleksi pelatih yang dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam memahami pelatihan dan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan karyawan.
