Abstract

Communication skill and team work are important aspects that need to be developed in the early ages as well as student‟s mastery concept. Therefore, a special learning model is needed to support the development of these communication skill, team work and student‟s mastery concept. This research aims to know the increasing of communication skill, team work and student‟s mastery concept through inquiry learning model. This research is implemented on grade 1 (one) students of Lentera Harapan school at Curug from July to December 2016. The data was collected through the test and rubric to get the mean value and N-gain. The increase of communication skill are known from the mean value posttest and pre-test 3,79>3,29 with N-gain = 0,60. The increase of team work are known from the mean value post-test and pre-test 3,41>2,78 with N-gain = 0,51. For student‟s mastery concept are known from the mean value post-test and pretest 70,68>47,00 with N-gain = 0,45. To see the difference in using Wilcoxon test for communication skill (Z = -4.563; ρ = 0.000) and team work (Z = -5.075; ρ = 0.000) and t-test for student‟s mastery concept (t = -7.221; ρ = 0.000). From these three data that have been analyzed, it was found that each Asymp, sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 which was less than 0.05. There is the difference in communication skill, team work and student‟s mastery concept before and after inquiry learning was implemented. / Keterampilan komunikasi dan sikap kerja sama merupakan hal penting yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini. Dalam pembelajaran, kedua hal tersebut perlu dimiliki oleh setiap siswa sama seperti penguasaan konsep. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung perkembangan keterampilan komunikasi, sikap kerja sama dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi, sikap kerja sama dan penguasaan konsep siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas 1 SD Lentera Harapan Curug dalam bulan Juli hingga Desember 2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Data diperoleh melalui pemberian tes dan rubrik yang kemudian dihitung nilai rata-rata dan N-gain. Peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi diketahui dari ratarata post-test dan pre-test yaitu 3,79>3,29 dengan N-gain = 0,60. Peningkatan sikap kerja sama diketahui dari rata-rata post-test dan pre-test yakni 3,41>2,78 dengan N-gain = 0,51. Untuk penguasaan konsep peningkatan nilai rata-rata posttest dan pre-test adalah 70,68>47,00 dengan N-gain = 0,45. Sedangkan untuk melihat perbedaan, menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada keterampilan komunikasi (Z = -4.563; ρ = 0.000) dan sikap kerja sama (Z = -5.075; ρ = 0.000) serta uji t-test untuk penguasaan konsep siswa (t = -7.221; ρ = 0.000). Dari ketiga data yang telah dianalisis didapatkan Asymp, sig (2-tailed) masing-masing yaitu 0,000<0,05. Maka ada perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi, sikap kerja sama dan penguasaan konsep siswa sebelum dan setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri.
