Abstract

PT. Mitra Pratama Cont. (MPC) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pertambangan batu. MPC menyediakan berbagai macam jenis batu yang diolah menjadi bermacam bentuk yaitu batu split dan pasir. Awalnya MPC mengembangkan jangkauan pemasaran produknya dengan menerapkan strategi pemasaran mengandalkan word of mouth (WoM) atau pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut. Strategi pemasaran merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang dapat mempengaruhi kelangsungan hidup suatu perusahaan, oleh karena itu MPC membutuhkan pengembangan sistem. Berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan MPC, sistem yang baru dibuat dalam bentuk aplikasi berbasis web. Sistem yang baru dikembangkan memiliki tujuan yang dapat membantu manajemen MPC dan konsumen. Bagi manajemen MPC aplikasi membantu manajemen MPC dalam menjalankan strategi pemasarannya selain membantu pengolahan data yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan untuk pengambilan keputusan strategis. Sistem yang dikembangkan meliputi fitur berkaitan dengan penawaran produk secara online, pembangkitan laporan pengeluaran, laporan pemasukan, laporan produksi. Sementara bagi konsumen sistem yang dikembangkan memfasilitasi konsumen untuk mengakses informasi tentang perusahaan, lokasi penambangan, macam-macam batu yang disediakan, banyak batu tersedia, serta melakukan pemesanan secara online dan menghubungi layanan pelanggan MPC. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, AJAX, HTML, Javascript, CSS, dan dengan dukungan sistem manajemen basis data MySQL. Berdasarkan pengujian atas sejumlah kasus uji yang ada, aplikasi berbasis web ini diketahui sudah memenuhi ekspektasi fungsionalitas berdasarkan spesifikasi kebutuhan yang ada. Untuk selanjutnya saat nanti diimplementasi aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas penjualan batu-batuan yang diproduksi MPC. / PT. Mitra Pratama Cont. (MPC) is a company engaged in stone mining. MPC provides various types of stone which are processed into various forms, namely split stone and sand. Initially, MPC developed its product marketing reach by implementing a marketing strategy relying on word of mouth (WoM). Marketing strategy is one of the main factors that can affect the survival of a company, therefore MPC requires system development. Based on the identification of MPC needs, the new system is made in the form of a web-based application. The newly developed system has a purpose that can help MPC management and consumers. For MPC management, the application helps MPC management in carrying out its marketing strategy in addition to assisting the processing of data needed by the company for strategic decision making. The system developed includes features related to online product offerings, generation of expense reports, income reports, and production reports. Meanwhile, for consumers, the developed system facilitates consumers to access information about the company, mining locations, types of stones provided, and lots of stones available, as well as placing orders online and contacting MPC customer service. Applications are developed using the programming language PHP, AJAX, HTML, Javascript, CSS, and with the support of the MySQL database management system. Based on testing several existing test cases, this web-based application is known to have met the functionality expectations based on the existing requirements specifications. In the future, when the application is implemented, it is hoped that it will increase the sales capacity of the stones produced by MPC.
