Abstract

The aim of Citizenship Education is to create students whose character is in accordance with the ideology of the Indonesian people, namely the inculcation of values contained in Pancasila. However, Citizenship Education shows an indication of failure because there are still students who do not understand their identity as citizens, are apathetic towards developing issues in the country, passive, there is a tendency to make certain groups and not responsive to instructions given by the teacher. Necessary, integration of Christian values into the agreed material is needed and this will have an effect on the character of students. Civics from the perspective of Biblical Criticism can be implemented through the assessment of Christian values, so students can support their existence as citizens of Indonesia while becoming citizens of God, with these students will change attitudes at the time of government, support sustainability in accordance with what is happening in the body of Christ and take part in the welfare of the nation. The purpose of this paper is to explain the integration of Christian values in Citizenship Education to shape student character. The research methods used by the authors are literature study and field observations. The author concludes that in Citizenship Education students become individuals who obey the government, showing an attitude of tolerance as a form of unity of body in Christ and students realize their role in the world as citizens of God's kingdom. The author hopes that through this writing the teacher understands its role to integrate the values of Christianity in the subject of Civics Education to shape the character of students so that they become more familiar with God. / Tujuan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan adalah untuk menciptakan siswa yang berkarakter sesuai dengan ideologi bangsa Indonesia, namun Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan menunjukkan indikasi kegagalan karena masih terdapat siswa yang belum memahami identitasnya sebagai warga negara, bersikap apatis terhadap isu-isu yang sedang berkembang dalam negara, pasif, adanya kecenderungan membuat kelompok-kelompok tertentu dan tidak responsif terhadap instruksi yang diberikan oleh guru. Integrasi nilai-nilai kekristenan dalam materi yang diajarkan memberikan dampak terhadap karakter siswa. PKn dari wawasan Kriten Alkitabiah dapat diimplementasikan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai kekristenan, siswa menyadari keberadaanya sebagai warga Indonesia sekaligus warga kerajaan Allah, dengan ini siswa akan menunjukkan sikap taat kepada pemerintah, menghargai keberagaman sebagai suatu bentuk kesatuan dalam tubuh Kristus dan mengambil bagian dalam mensejahterahkan bangsa. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan integrasi nilai-nilai kekristenan dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan untuk membentuk karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah study literature dan observasi lapangan. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan siswa menjadi pribadi yang taat pada pemerintah, menunjukkan sikap toleransi sebagai bentuk kesatuan tubuh dalam Kristus dan siswa menyadari perannya dalam dunia sebagai warga kerajaan Allah. Penulis berharap melalui penulisan ini guru memahami perannya untuk mengintegrasikan nilainilai kekrsitenan dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan untuk membentuk karakater siswa agar semakin mengenal Allah.
