Abstract
Pembelajaran berjalan efektif bila siswa merasa nyaman, tidak tertekan, dan termotivasi untuk bertanya, berpendapat, mencoba, dan mengeksplor pembelajaran secara mandiri. Pada salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta, peneliti menjumpai kurangnya pembelajaran yang kontekstual sehingga beberapa siswa sulit memahami konsep Fisika dan mengintegrasikannya. Kendala ini mempengaruhi respon siswa dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan guru yang terampil dalam merancang dan menyajikan pembelajaran, salah satunya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual dengan pendekatan Joyful Learning melalui metode praktikum. Guru merupakan wakil Allah yang diberi kemampuan untuk mengelola dan memanajemen kelas sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Siswa sebagai Imago Dei memiliki kemampuan untuk terus belajar untuk mengenal Tuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual dengan pendekatan Joyful Learning melalui metode praktikum pada materi Titik Berat kelas XI IPA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendekatan Joyful Learning dengan metode praktikum terbukti mampu mengatasi kendala kurangnya pembelajaran kontekstual dengan memotivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Fisika sehingga siswa menikmati pembelajaran, memiliki kesempatan untuk mengeksplorasi, dan menerapkan konsep yang dipelajari. Peneliti menyarankan diadakannya pretest sebelum dan posttest sesudah praktikum, memberikan soal-soal analisis yang terstruktur pada LKS, serta memikirkan persiapan praktikum yang efektif dan efisien untuk memperoleh data yang lebih komprehensif./Learning is effective when students feel comfortable, not pressured, and motivated to ask questions, think, try, and explore learning independently. At one Christian school in Jakarta, researchers found a lack of contextual learning, so some students found it difficult to understand the concepts of Physics and integrate them. These constraints affect student responses to learning. Therefore, skilled teachers are needed in designing and presenting learning, one of which is by applying contextual learning with a Joyful Learning approach through practicum methods. Teachers are representatives of God who are given the ability to manage and manage classes according to the needs of students. Students like Imago Dei can continuously learn to know God. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of contextual learning with a Joyful Learning approach through the practical method on the subject of emphasis in class XI science. The method used is the descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the study show the Joyful Learning approach with the practicum method, it is proven to be able to overcome the lack of contextual learning by motivating students to take part in Physics learning so that students enjoy learning, have the opportunity to explore, and apply the concepts learned. The researcher suggests holding a pretest before and posttest after the practicum, providing structured analytical questions on the LKS, and thinking about effective and efficient practicum preparation to obtain more comprehensive data.
