Abstract

Manusia mengalami banyak kejadian selama hidupnya, termasuk kesengsaraan yang seringkali diartikan sebagai nasib buruk atau kesialan. Pandangan nihilisme yang mengemukakan bahwa hidup tidak memiliki arti berasal dari tragedi dan peristiwa buruk yang terjadi di dunia. Tragedi-tragedi yang terjadi membuat manusia merasa asing dari dunia. Perasaan terasing dari dunia pada satu titik menyebabkan timbulnya perasaan ingin mengakhiri hidup untuk menghindari ketidakmenentuan yang terjadi di dunia ini. Perasaan asing dan ketidakjelasan itulah yang disebut sebagai absurditas. Didasari oleh paham filosofis nihilisme dan absurdisme, penulis memutuskan untuk memproduksi film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)”. Film ini mengeksplor konsep kesialan dengan mengangkat masalah ekonomi yang dialami oleh sebagian masyarakat Indonesia akibat PHK massal saat menjulangnya isu resesi 2023. Film yang dikemas dengan komedi gelap ini bertujuan untuk mengkritik kehidupan sekaligus menjadi media hiburan bagi audiens yang mungkin mengalami penderitaan serupa. Film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)” diharapkan dapat memberi semangat bagi para penonton untuk tetap berjuang di tengah musibah dan tantangan yang terjadi di kehidupan. Dalam pembuatan film ini, penulis berperan sebagai produser yang bertugas untuk merealisasikan visi dan misi sutradara dan menyampaikannya pada audiens yang tepat dengan sumber daya yang ada. Karya tulis ini memuat peran produser dalam setiap tahapan pembuatan film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)”. Setelah melalui proses produksi yang berjalan selama 8 bulan, produser berhasil merealisasikan film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)” hingga film ini siap untuk didistribusikan kepada audiens. / Humans experience many events during their lives, including misery which is often interpreted as bad luck. The view of nihilism which suggests that life has no meaning originates from the tragedies and bad events that occur in the world. The tragedies that have occurred have made people feel alienated from the world. Feelings of alienation from the world at one point led to feelings of wanting to end one's life to avoid the uncertainties of this world. That feeling of foreignness and obscurity is what is referred to as absurdity. Based on the philosophical understanding of nihilism and absurdism, the writer decided to produce the film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)”. This film explores the concept of bad luck using the economic problems experienced by some Indonesian people due to mass layoffs when the issue of 2023 recession looms. Wrapped in dark comedy, this film aims to criticize life as well as to entertain audiences who may experience similar suffering. The movie “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)” is expected to be able to encourage the audience to keep fighting in the midst of calamities and challenges that occur in life. In making this film, the writer acts as a producer whose job is to realize the director's vision and mission and convey it to the right audience with the available resources. This paper contains the role of the producer in every stage of making the film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)”. After going through a production process that lasted for 8 months, the producers succeeded in realizing the film “Sialan! (What a Lovely, Lovely Day)” until the film is ready for distribution.
