Teori mengatakan bahwa salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku hidup sehat seseorang adalah pengetahuan. Biologi merupakan mata pelajaran yang berkaitan erat dengan kesehatan, diharapkan tidak sekedar disampaikan pada level kognitif, tetapi juga berdampak pada perilaku hidup sehat siswa. Akan tetapi, hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar Indonesia menyatakan bahwa masih banyak masyarakat Indonesia yang kurang menunjukkan perilaku hidup sehat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan signifikan yang terdapat di antara pengetahuan tentang sistem ekskresi dengan perilaku hidup sehat siswa kelas IX SMP ABC Cikarang dan melihat seberapa besar hubungan yang terdapat di dalamnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif asosiatif. Pola hubungan yang terdapat di dalam penelitian ini adalah pola hubungan kausal dimana peningkatan variabel X akan mempengaruhi peningkatan variabel Y. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP ABC Cikarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen angket dan instrumen tes. Intrumen angket untuk variabel perilaku hidup sehat siswa dan instrumen tes untuk variabel pengetahuan tentang sistem ekskresi. Hipotesis diuji dengan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan tentang sistem ekskresi dengan perilaku hidup sehat siswa (0,039 < 0,05). Sedangkan, (2) berdasarkan koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh (0,332), hubungan yang terdapat di antara pengetahuan tentang sistem ekskresi dengan perilaku hidup sehat siswa tergolong lemah tetapi memiliki arah hubungan yang positif. / Theory said that one of the factors that affect to person’s healthy behavior is knowledge. Biology is a subject that is closely related to the healthy sector, are expected not only taught in the cognitive level, but also has an impact to students’ healthy behavior. However, the result of Healthy Research in Indonesia declared that there are still many Indonesian people who showed less healthy behavior. This research was conduted to seek the significant correlation between the knowledge of excretory system with the healthy behavior of students in grade 9th SMP ABC Cikarang and the level of correlation between them. The research method is associative quantitative. The pattern of correlation in this research is causal pattern which mean the increase of the variable X will affect the increase of variable Y. The population in this research are students of grade 9th SMP ABC Cikarang. Data was collected by questionnaires and test instruments. Questionnaire instruments for students’ health behavior variable and test instruments for the knowledge of the excretory system variable. The hypothesis was tested with Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) there is a significant correlation between the knowledge of the excretory system with the students’ healthy behavior (0.039 < 0.05). Meanwhile, (2) based on the correlation coefficient obtained (0.332), the correlation between knowledge of the excretory system with the students’ healthy behavior relatively weak but has a positive correlation direction.
