Abstract
Prestasi belajar dapat dipengaruhi banyak faktor, salah satu faktor yang
mempengaruhi prestasi belajar adalah motivasi berprestasi. Adanya motivasi
berprestasi yang baik dalam belajar akan menunjukkan prestasi belajar yang baik.
Berdasarkan teori, seharusnya siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi
memiliki prestasi belajar yang tinggi juga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi siswa
kelas XI IPA SMA Kristen Ora et Labora BSD Tangerang Selatan. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini
menggunakan analisis data deskriptif persentase untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi
berprestasi dan prestasi belajar Biologi siswa serta analisis korelasi product moment
dan regresi linear sederhana untuk menjelaskan pengaruh motivasi berprestasi
terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi.
Berdasarkan analisis korelasi dan regresi untuk prestasi belajar kognitif dan
psikomotorik sebagai variabel terikat, diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,380
dengan tingkat hubungan positif sedang, nilai signifikansi rhitung 0,380 (> rtabel =
0.301), koefisien determinasi sebesar 14,44%, dan persamaan regresi Y = 66,259 +
0,337X. Sementara itu, berdasarkan analisis korelasi untuk prestasi belajar afektif
sebagai variabel terikat, diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,076 dengan tingkat
hubungan negatif tak berarti, sehingga tidak dilanjutkan ke analisis selanjutnya.
Kesimpulan yang pertama, motivasi berprestasi siswa dengan kategori sangat tinggi
sebesar 14%, tinggi 53,5%, rendah 20,9%, dan sangat rendah 11,6%. Kedua,
prestasi belajar Biologi siswa pada aspek kognitif sebanyak 42 (97,7%) siswa
memiliki nilai di atas KKM sekolah pada pelajaran Biologi dan hanya terdapat 1
(2,3%) siswa dengan nilai di bawah KKM. Sedangkan, pada aspek afektif siswa
dengan nilai afektif kategori Baik Sekali (A) sebesar 76,7% dan pada kateogri Baik
(B) sebesar 23,3%. Ketiga, adanya pengaruh motivasi berprestasi yang positif dan
signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi aspek kognitif dan psikomotor siswa.
Sedangkan, tidak adanya pengaruh motivasi berprestasi yang positif dan signifikan
terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi aspek afektif siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Kristen Ora
et Labora BSD Tangerang Selatan. / Learning achievement can be influenced by many factors, one of the factors
that influences learning achievement is achievement motivation. The existence of
good achievement motivation in learning will show good learning achievement as
well. Based on theory, students with high achievement motivation are supposed to
have high learning motivation as well. This research is aimed to know the impact
of achievement motivation toward Biology learning achievement of grade XI�Natural Science Students In SMA Kristen Ora et Labora BSD South Tangerang.
The research method used is correlation quantitative method. This research used
descriptive percentage data analysis to describe the achievement motivation and
Biology learning achievement and product moment correlation analysis and also
simple linear regression to explain th impact of achievement motivation toward
Biology learning achievement.
Based on the correlation analysis and regression for cognitive learning
achievement and psychomotor as dependent variable, obtained correlation
coefficient 0,380 with medium positive relation level, significance value, rcount
0,380 (> rtable = 0.301), determinant coefficient 14,44%, and regression equation Y
= 66,259 + 0,337X. Meanwhile, based on correlation analysis for affective learning
achievement as dependent variable, obtained correlation coefficient -0,076 with
insignificant negative relation level, so that the next analysis was not conducted.
The first conclusion, the achievement motivation of students categorized as very
high at 14%, high at 53,5%, low at 20,9%, and very low at 11,6%. Second, Biology
learning achievement of students on cognitive aspects, there are 42 (97,7%)
students had grades above the school’s KKM and and there is only 1 (2,3%) student
with grades below the school’s KKM. Meanwhile, on the affective aspects of
students, 76,7% categorized as Very Good (A) and 23,3% categorized as Good (B)
affective grades. Third, achievement motivation has positive and significant impact
on the Biology learning achievement of students in the cognitive and psychomotor
aspects. Whereas, achievement motivation has no positive and significant impact
on the Biology learning achievement in the affective aspects of students grade XI
IPA SMA Kristen Ora et Labora BSD Tangerang Selatan.
