Abstract
Kreativitas sangat diperlukan dalam memunculkan ide-ide baru untuk
memecahkan masalah, khususnya dalam pelajaran Matematika. Kreativitas tidak
akan mungkin muncul begitu saja, namun diperlukan adanya dorongan yang
timbul dari dalam diri sendiri untuk melakukannya. Dorongan ini sering disebut
dengan motivasi intrinsik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi intrinsik dengan kreativitas belajar
Matematika siswa SMA kelas X. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian
korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah
siswa kelas X IPA di Sekolah ABC Tangerang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan
adalah sampling purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen
berupa kuesioner. Kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data motivasi intrinsik
dan kreativitas belajar Matematika. Data disajikan dalam bentuk statistik
deskriptif dan inferensial. Analisis data diawali dengan uji normalitas yang
menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov untuk mengetahui bahwa data
terdistribusi normal atau tidak. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan uji Linearitas untuk
mengetahui kebenaran hubungan antara kedua variabel. Terakhir hipotesis diuji
dengan menggunakan uji analisis korelasional Pearson Product Moment karena
data terdistribusi normal.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai rata-rata motivasi intrinsik sebesar 66%
dan nilai rata-rata kreativitas sebesar 58%. Hasil uji korelasi memiliki koefisien
korelasi dengan ρ = 0,526, dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini berarti hasil dari
analisis penelitian terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi
intrinsik dan kreativitas dengan kategori korelasi yang cukup./ Creativity is essential in generating new ideas to solve problems, especially in
Math. Creativity does not always show up in a glimpse, but it needs a boost of
initiation from within one’s self to be able to do so. This initiation is what is often
called intrinsic motivation. Therefore, this study is aimed to determine the
relationship between intrinsic motivation and the creativity of learning
Mathematics for Grade X SMA students. The type of this research is a
correlational research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study
was the students of class X IPA in ABC School in Tangerang. The sampling
technique used was the purposive sampling. The instrument used for data
collection technique was in the form of questionnaires. Questionnaires were used
to obtain data on intrinsic motivation and creativity in learning Mathematics. The
data was presented in the form of descriptive and inferential statistics. The data
analysis began with a normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to
determine whether the data were normally distributed or not. This was followed
by a Linearity test to determine the truth of the relationship between the two
variables. Lastly, the hypotheses were tested using a correlation analysis test, the
Pearson Product Moment, since the data were normally distributed.
The results of this study showed the average value of intrinsic motivation is 66%
and the average value of creativity is 58%. The test results have a correlation
coefficient of correlation with ρ= 0.526, and the significance of 0.000 < 0.05, it
means that the result of the study analysis is found positive and significant to the
relationship of intrinsic motivation and creativity with a “enough” correlation
category.
