Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan banyak manfaat bagi
masyarakat dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga minat masyarakat
untuk menggunakan produk teknologi informasi semakin meningkat. Hal ini juga
merupakan peluang bagi perusahaan untuk mengembangkan produk teknologi
informasi baru. Salah satu perusahaan yang memanfaatkan peluang ini adalah
BCA yang meluncurkan kartu Flazz BCA. Sejak diluncurkan pada tahun 2007,
jumlah pengguna kartu Flazz BCA terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Saat ini,
jumlah pengguna kartu Flazz BCA telah mencapai jutaan konsumen. Akan tetapi
persentase pertumbuhannya masih tergolong kecil. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini
dilakukan untuk menganalisa pengaruh perceived usefulness, perceived ease of
use, compatibility, personal innovativeness dan social influence terhadap
behavioral intention serta pengaruh behavioral intention terhadap actual usage
kartu Flazz BCA. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh BCA
dalam mengembangkan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan jumlah pengguna
dan penggunaan aktual kartu Flazz BCA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan
kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan
program AMOS 16.0. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 140 responden yang
digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan non
probability sampling dan metode snowball sampling.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perceived usefulness, personal
innovativeness dan social influence mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan
terhadap behavioral intention. Sedangkan perceived ease of use dan compatibility
mempunyai pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap behavioral intention.
Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa behavioral intention memiliki
pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap actual usage kartu Flazz BCA di
Surabaya / The development of information technology has given many advantages
for people to do their activities. So, it increase the intention to use information
technology’s products. It is also an opportunity for companies to develop the new
information technology’s products. One of the companies that take this
opportunity is BCA which launched Flazz BCA card. Since its launched in 2007,
the number of Flazz BCA card’s users increased continually. Now, the number of
users has reach millions of consumers. However, the percentage of user’s growth
is relatively small. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of perceived
usefulness, perceived ease of use, compatibility, personal innovativeness and
social influence to behavioral intention and the effect of behavioral intention to
actual usage. The results of this study can be used by BCA to develop the best
strategy in order to increase the number of users and actual usage of Flazz BCA
card. This study uses quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling
(SEM) technique and AMOS 16.0 program. Questionnaires were distributed to
140 respondents who used as a sample in this study using non probability
sampling and snowball sampling’s method.
The result of this study shows that perceived usefulness, personal
innovativeness and social influence have positive and significant effects on
behavioral intention. Perceived ease of use and compatibility has positive but
insignificant effects on behavioral intention. In addition, this study also found that
behavioral intention has positive and significant effects on actual usage of Flazz
BCA card in Surabaya
