Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi digital memberikan kemudahan diberbagai bidang untuk melakukan kegiatannya. Allah pencipta alam semesta memberikan pengetahuan melalui akal budi manusia, sehingga dapat menghasilkan teknologi digital.Teknologi sebagai anugerah Allah harus digunakan untuk mengembangkan diri demi kemuliaan Allah dan bukan hanya sekedar untuk kesenangan pribadinya.Pembelajaran erat dengan pemanfaatan gadget sebagai teknologi digital yang dapat mengefektifkan proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Akan tetapi terdapat penggunaan gadget yang tidak sesuai dengan fungsinya dalam pembelajaran. Guru sebagai pembimbing harus melakukan upaya untuk menolong siswa mengendalikan dirinya terhadap pemanfaatan gadget. Guru sebagai agen rekonsiliasi yang bekerja dengan semangat Kristus harus menerapkan dan melandaskan aturan dan prosedur sesuai dengan kasih dan kebenaran Allah yang ada dalam di Alkitab. Maka tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini untuk memaparkan penerapan aturan dan prosedur untuk mengendalikan diri siswa terhadap penggunaan gadget dalam pembelajaran di kelas XI IPS SMA XYZ dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Aturan dan prosedur dijelaskan, disepakati, diterapkan secara konsisten dan dievaluasi agar dapat menolong siswa mengendalikan dirinya terhadap penggunaan gadget di kelas. Penerapan aturan dan prosedur harus dibarengi dengan pemberian pemahaman
kepada siswa bahwa kehadiran gadget sebagai bagian dari perkembangan teknologi digital merupakan anugerah Allah yang perlu digunakan untuk kemuliaan-Nya./The development of digital technology makes it easy in various fields to carry out their activities. God the creator of the universw provides knowledge through human intellect, so that it can produce digital technology. Technology as a gift from God must be used to develop ourseves for the glory of God and not just for personal pleasure. Learning is closely related to the utilization of gadgets as digital technology that can streamline the teaching and learning process in the classroom. However, there are uses of gadgets that are not in accordance with their function ini learning. Teachers as agents of reconciliation who work with the spirit of Christ must apply and base rules and procedures on God’s love and truthin the Bible. So the purpose of writing this final project is to describe the steps of rules and procedures to control student’s self-control of gadget use ini learning in class XI SMA XYZ using descriptive qualitative method. Rules and procedures are explained, agreed upon, consistently applied and evaluated in order to help students control their gadget use in the classroom. The implementation of rules and procedures must be accompanied by giving students an understanding that the presence of gadgets as part of the development of digital technology is a gift from God that needs to be used for His glory.
