Abstract
Era digital ditandai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat. Aspek kehidupan menjadi serba instan dan tidak dibatasi ruang dan waktu. Namun, perkembangan teknologi bukanlah jaminan dari berhasilnya kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini dikarenakan guru yang masih gagap dalam menggunakan teknologi. Guru harus mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman sehingga dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam pembelajaran di era digital. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penulisan paper ini adalah mengkaji peran guru sebagai fasilitator di era digital. Penulisan paper ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur. Di era digital peran guru sebagai fasilitator sangat penting terutama dalam pembelajaran komunitas digital global yaitu: a) guru sebagai fasilitator pada pembelajaran yang memfokuskan pada pembangunan pencarian dan pengembangan, b) guru sebagai fasilitator pada pembelajaran yang mendorong pada kreativitas dan inisiatif, c) guru sebagai fasilitator pada pembelajaran yang mendorong pada interaksi dan kerja sama. Guru Kristen adalah rekan sekerja Allah yang membawa siswa kepada pengetahuan yang benar. Peran guru Kristen sebagai fasilitator di era digital tidak lepas dari tuntunan Roh Kudus sehingga dapat berhikmat menggunakan teknologi dan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Adapun saran bagi guru Kristen adalah menerapkan pembelajaran komunitas digital global, menguasai tujuh peran, dan kompetensi guru di era digital. Ketujuh peran tersebut yaitu: sumber belajar, fasilitator, pengelola, demonstrator, pembimbing, motivator, dan elevator.
Kata Kunci: Fasilitator, pendidikan Kristen, era digital / The digital era is characterized by increasingly rapid technological developments. Aspects of life become instant and not limited by space and time. However, technological developments are not a guarantee of the success of teaching and learning activities. This is because teachers are still stuttering in using technology. Teachers must be able to adapt to current developments so that they can facilitate students in learning in the digital era. Therefore, the aim of writing this paper is to examine the role of teachers as facilitators in the digital era. This paper was written using the literature review method. In the digital era, the role of teachers as facilitators is very important, especially in global digital community learning, namely: a) teachers as facilitators in learning that focuses on development, search and development, b) teachers as facilitators in learning that encourages creativity and initiative, c) teachers as facilitator of learning that encourages interaction and cooperation. Christian teachers are God's co-workers who bring students to true knowledge. The role of Christian teachers as facilitators in the digital era cannot be separated from the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that they can wisely use technology and digital media in learning. The advice for Christian teachers is to apply global digital community learning, master the seven roles and teacher competencies in the digital era. The seven roles are: learning resource, facilitator, manager, demonstrator, mentor, motivator, and elevator.
