Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan hasil atau prestasi yang diperoleh siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran. Tercapainya hasil pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, yakni faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis penerapan metode mind mapping dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Mind mapping atau dalam artian pemetaan pikiran adalah teknik kognitif yang memanfaatkan seluruh potensi otak manusia dengan melibatkan sisi kreatif dan analitis pikiran secara tersinkronisasi (Said & Budimanjaya, 2015). Pendidikan tidak semata mata tentang menyampaikan suatu pengetahuan tetapi juga tentang membina perkembangan holistik siswa. Manusia merupakan ciptaan yang istimewa, memiliki keunikan yang tidak dimiliki oleh ciptaan lain. Manusia merupakan makhluk yang bermoral, yang diperlengkapi dengan hati, akal, dan kehendak (Sproul, 2023). Siswa dapat secara efektif mengatur dan menghubungkan berbagai konsep atau ide, serta memfasilitasi kemampuan mereka untuk menyimpan informasi dan menerapkannya dalam berbagai konteks. Kemudian pembagian kelompok belajar yang merata itu sangat penting dan perlu diperhatikan karena berpengaruh bagi hasil belajar mereka. Guru harus mampu memanajemen waktu dengan baik saat menerapkan metode mind mapping, karena pengerjaan mind mapping membutuhkan waktu yang cukup banyak. / Learning outcomes are the results or achievements obtained by students after participating in learning. Achieving learning outcomes is influenced by various factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The aim of this research is to analyze the application of the mind mapping method to improve student learning outcomes. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Mind mapping or in the sense of mind mapping is a cognitive technique that utilizes the full potential of the human brain by involving the creative and analytical sides of the mind in a synchronized manner (Said & Budimanjaya, 2015). Education is not solely about imparting knowledge but also about fostering students' holistic development. Humans are a special creation, possessing uniqueness that no other creation has. Humans are moral creatures, equipped with a heart, reason and will (Sproul, 2023). Students can effectively organize and connect various concepts or ideas, as well as facilitate their ability to retain information and apply it in various contexts. Then, even distribution of study groups is very important and needs to be paid attention to because it affects their learning outcomes. Teachers must be able to manage time well when applying the mind mapping method, because working on mind mapping requires quite a lot of time.
