Desa Wisata Burai memiliki berbagai potensi dan daya tarik yang lengkap. Potensi Desa Burai diantaranya adalah wisata alam, wisata religi, wisata edukasi, wisata kuliner dan wisata seni serta budaya. Begitu besarnya potensi yang dimiliki Desa Wisata Burai membuat daerah sekitarnya pun menjadikan desa ini percontohan, tapi desa ini tentu tidak terlepas dari permasalahan yang ada, salah satunya adalah pengembangan dan penyebaran informasi lengkap tentang Desa Burai. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan salah satu tujuan yaitu memberikan informasi kepada wisatawan nusantara mengenai daya tarik wisata dan kuliner di Desa Wisata Burai maka terwujudlah perancangan buku ini. Penulis menggunakan konsep ide buku berupa buku ilustrasi yang didalamnya terdapat aspek seperti konsep media, konsep kreatif dan konsep visual yang menjadi landasan dari terbentuknya buku ini. Agar terpenuhinya bahan konsep tersebut maka dalam pengumpulan sumber data yang mana penulis menggunakan metode observasi dan kuesioner secara langsung di Desa Wisata Burai. penulis melakukan wawancara langsung pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan Desa Wisata Burai; seperti Kepala Desa Burai, Pokdarwis, dan pihak Disbudpar Sumatera Selatan. Berikutnya setelah semua data terbentuk, barulah penulis menuangkannya kedalam isi buku yang disertai bentuk desain visual yang interaktif dan menarik. Proses layout yang didesain mempermudah saat membaca dan pemilihan warna agar pembaca tidak lelah atau terbaca dengan baik agar informasi pada isi tersampaikan dengan baik. / Burai Tourism Village features a wide range of potentials and attractions. Burai Village's tourist potential includes natural tourism, religious tourism, educational tourism, gastronomic tourism, and arts and culture tourism. The potential of Burai Tourism Village is so enormous that the surrounding region has made it a model. However this village is not without issues, one of which is the creation and transmission of comprehensive information about Burai Village. This is in keeping with one of the objectives, which is to provide information to both international and domestic travelers about tourism and culinary attractions in Burai Tourism Village, therefore the book design was completed. The author employs the notion of a book idea in the form of an illustrated book with elements such as media concepts, creative concepts, and visual concepts serving as the foundation for the creation of this book. In order to complete the idea material, the author collects data sources directly in Burai Tourism Village using observation and questionnaire methods. The author conducts direct interviews with Burai Tourism Village stakeholders such as the Head of Burai Village, Pokdarwis, and the South Sumatra Disbudpar. Following that, the author incorporates all of the data into the book's content, which is supported with an engaging and appealing visual design. The layout method is meant to make it simpler to read and the color selection ensures that readers do not become fatigued or read poorly that’s allowing the information in the text to be transmitted appropriately.
