Abstract
Numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills need to be possessed by students in order to adapt to advances in science, technology and information. This study aims to analyze the differences between numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills in classes that apply OK-LCD with classes that apply the lecture method. The research subjects were first grade students of elementary schools in Bekasi, totaling 28 people for the control class and 27 people for the experiment class. The research period was conducted for four weeks from October 2 to October 20, 2023. This study used a weak experimental design method with a static-group pretest-posttest design model. The research data were obtained through written tests and rubrics that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of statistical analysis and tests showed differences in the control class pretest scores with the control class post test, experimental class pretest scores with the experimental class post test, and control class nGain with experimental class nGain on numeracy skills, critical thinking rubrics, and student communication rubrics. The data is expressed in the average nGain in the experimental class for numeracy skills, critical thinking rubric, and communication rubric. The data is expressed in the average nGain in the experimental class for numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills with values of 0.56; 0.57; and 0.66, respectively. In the average nGain in the control class for numeracy, critical thinking, and communication skills with values of 0.40; 0.42; and 0.59, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in numeracy, critical thinking and communication skills in the control class and experimental class. / Keterampilan numerasi, berpikir kritis dan komunikasi perlu dimiliki oleh siswa agar mampu beradaptasi dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi serta informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan antara keterampilan numerasi, berpikir kritis dan komunikasi pada kelas yang menerapkan OK-LCD dengan kelas yang menerapkan metode ceramah. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar di Bekasi yang berjumlah 28 orang untuk kelas kontrol dan 27 orang untuk kelas eksperimen. Periode penelitian dilakukan selama empat minggu dimulai 2 Oktober sampai 20 Oktober 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode weak experimental design dengan model static-group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes tertulis dan rubrik yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis dan uji statistik menunjukkan terjadinya perbedaan nilai pretest kelas kontrol dengan post test kelas kontrol, nilai pretest kelas eksperimen dengan post test kelas eksperimen, dan nGain kelas kontrol dengan nGain kelas eksperimen pada keterampilan numerasi, rubrik berpikir kritis, dan rubrik komunikasi siswa. Data tersebut dinyatakan dalam rata-rata nGain pada kelas eksperimen untuk keterampilan numerasi, berpikir kritis dan komunikasi dengan nilai berturut-turut 0,56; 0,57; dan 0,66. Pada rata-rata nGain pada kelas kontrol untuk keterampilan numerasi, berpikir kritis, dan komunikasi dengan nilai berturut-turut 0,40; 0,42; dan 0,59. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan numerasi, berpikir kritis dan komunikasi di kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.
