Abstract
OVO merupakan sebuah platform pembayaran digital yang berbasis di
Indonesia. Singkatan OVO sendiri berarti "On-Value-Added." Platform ini
memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan berbagai transaksi keuangan secara
mudah, seperti pembayaran tagihan, transfer uang, pembelian pulsa, pembayaran di
toko atau merchant, hingga pengumpulan poin reward. OVO dapat diakses melalui
aplikasi mobile yang tersedia untuk perangkat Android dan iOS. Platform ini telah
menjadi salah satu dari beberapa layanan pembayaran digital yang populer di
Indonesia, bersaing dengan beberapa layanan serupa seperti GoPay, Dana, dan
LinkAja.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan aplikasi OVO
sebagai metode pembayaran elektronik di Surabaya. OVO, sebagai salah satu
penyedia layanan pembayaran digital, telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang pesat
dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini fokus pada penggunaan OVO di kota
Surabaya sebagai representasi dari perkembangan penggunaan pembayaran
elektronik di tingkat lokal.
Penelitian ini bersifat kausal dengan metode kuantitatif dan dengan
menggunakan software AMOS 22.0 untuk membantu mengolah data primer dari
120 Pengguna OVO di Surabaya yang berhasil dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan
teknik Snowball Sampling. Karakteristik responden yang ada dalam penelitian ini
yaitu pria dan wanita, berusia 18-60 Tahun, berdomisili di Surabaya, dan
menggunakan OVO minimal 3 kali dalam 1 bulan terakhir.
Kesimpulannya pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel yang
berpengaruh positif dan signifikan yaitu Trialabillity dengan koefisien regresi
sebesar 0,516, lalu Observabillity dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,478 kemudian
yang terakhir adalah Compatibillity dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,477. Nilai
koefisiem regresi terbesar adalah Trialabillity. OVO memberikan pelayanan dan
pengaplikasian yang dapat mudah digunakan dan diterima oleh para pengguna / OVO is a digital payment platform based in Indonesia. The abbreviation
OVO itself stands for "On-Value-Added." This platform allows users to easily
conduct various financial transactions, such as bill payments, money transfers,
purchasing credits, payments at stores or merchants, and even collecting reward
points. OVO can be accessed through a mobile application available for both
Android and iOS devices. The platform has become one of the popular digital
payment services in Indonesia, competing with similar services like GoPay, Dana,
and LinkAja.
The aim of this research is to analyze the usage of the OVO application as
an electronic payment method in Surabaya. OVO, as one of the digital payment
service providers, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. This research
focuses on the usage of OVO in the city of Surabaya as a representation of the
development of electronic payment usage at the local level.
This research is causal with a quantitative method, utilizing AMOS 22.0
software to help process primary data from 120 OVO users in Surabaya collected
using Snowball Sampling technique. The characteristics of respondents in this
research are men and women, aged 18-60 years old, residing in Surabaya, and
using OVO at least 3 times in the last month.
The conclusion of this research reveals that the variables that have a
positive and significant effect are Trialability with a regression coefficient of 0.516,
followed by Observability with a regression coefficient of 0.478, and Compatibility
with a regression coefficient of 0.477. The highest regression coefficient value is
Trialability. OVO provides services and applications that are easy to use and
accepted by users
