Abstract

Konteks kelas II SD dalam pembelajaran tematik mengintegrasikan mata pelajaran IPA, Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, dan SBK. Tema dalam pembelajaran adalah hukum Allah atas perubahan materi dan benda (IPA). Pemahaman sepanjang hayat dalam unit pembelajaran adalah Allah menciptakan materi dan benda dengan karakteristiknya sehingga manusia dapat menggunakannya di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebagai rekan sekerja Allah di dunia ini manusia diberikan mandat untuk memanfaatkan segala materi yang Allah ciptakan sebagai respon dalam mensyukuri segala yang diciptakan-Nya dengan sangat teratur. Untuk mencapai pemahaman sepanjang hayat, pembelajaran dalam satu unit menerapkan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dengan penilaian akhir sumatif berbentuk proyek. Dalam sumatif akhir, siswa berkolaborasi dalam kelompok membuat poster mind mapping yang dipresentasikan dan replika benda karya 3 dimensi dari plastisin. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengakomodasi konteks gaya belajar siswa yang beragam. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan guru, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang diajarkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dalam sumatif proyek. Namun, tantangan dalam menerapkan penilaian proyek dalam inquiry learning adalah penggunaan waktu yang cukup lama sehingga pada perencanaan presentasi di depan kelas tidak terlaksana. Saran perbaikan selanjutnya adalah perlunya perencanaan penilaian proyek yang matang agar terlaksana dengan baik. / The context of grade II SD in thematic learning integrates science, Indonesian language, mathematics and SBK subjects. The theme of the learning unit is God's law on changes in matter and objects. Enduring understanding in the learning unit is that God created matter and objects with their characteristics so that humans can use it in everyday life. As God's co-workers in this world, humans are given the mandate to utilise all the materials that God created as a response to being grateful for everything He created in a very orderly manner. To achieve enduring understanding, learning in one unit applies an inquiry learning strategy with a final summative assessment in the form of a project. In the final summative, students collaborate in groups to make a mind mapping poster that is presented and a replica of a 3D object from plasticine. This aims to accommodate the context of students' diverse learning styles. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and assessment of student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes showed that the implementation of the inquiry learning strategy significantly improved students' understanding of the concepts taught and improved collaboration skills in summative projects. However, the challenge in implementing project assessment in inquiry learning is the use of time that is long enough so that the planning of presentations in front of the class is not implemented. The suggestion for further improvement is the need for careful planning of project assessment so that it is well implemented.
