Abstract
Siswa kelas K-2 merupakan anak usia dini dengan rentang usia 4-5 tahun. Pada tahapan usia ini, anak sedang dalam perkembangan kognitif praoperasional (belum mampu berfikir rasional). Mereka memiliki kognitif yang kreatif dan bebas sehingga mulai mencoba memahami dunia lewat gambar-gambar dan kata-kata. Pembelajaran ini dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri pada mata pelajaran literasi. Siswa dituntun untuk mengenal hewan ciptaan Allah dan mandat yang Allah berikan kepada manusia. Pembelajaran literasi sesuai dengan gaya belajar anak usia dini sehingga pembelajaran disusun dengan melibatkan visual (penglihatan), auditory (pendengaran), dan kinesthetic (menggunakan gerakan). Pembelajaran ini menuntun siswa untuk berpikir secara terarah dengan hasil harapan siswa mampu memahami dan menerapkan mandat budaya tersebut secara khusus merawat hewan ciptaan Allah. Namun pada tahap usia ini siswa masih dalam tahap perkembangan sulit mengkomunikasikan pemahamannya. Oleh karena itu sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran, siswa dituntun untuk mampu memahami berbagai informasi dan mengkomunikasikan pikiran secara lisan dan tulisan melalui pembelajaran literasi. Untuk perbaikan kedepannya, sebaiknya guru merancang pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan aktivitas yang melibatkan siswa karena hal tersebut dapat menstimulus perkembangan mereka secara optimal. Selain itu seorang guru Kristen perlu untuk terus merefleksikan pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada Kristus agar siswa dapat semakin mengenal Kristus di dalam kehidupan mereka. / K-2 students are early childhood with an age range of 4-5 years. At this age stage, children are in preoperational cognitive development (not yet able to think rationally). They have creative and free cognition so they begin to try to understand the world through pictures and words. This lesson is carried out by applying inquiry learning strategies in literacy subjects. Students are guided to recognise animals created by God and the mandate that God has given to humans. Literacy learning is in accordance with the learning style of early childhood so that learning is structured by involving visual (vision), auditory (hearing), and kinesthetic (using movement). This learning leads students to think in a directed way with the result 2 that students are able to understand and apply the cultural mandate specifically to care for animals created by God. However, at this age stage students are still in the developmental stage of difficulty communicating their understanding. Therefore, in accordance with the learning outcomes, students are guided to be able to understand various information and communicate thoughts orally and in writing through literacy learning. For future improvement, teachers should design learning by paying attention to activities that involve students because it can stimulate their development optimally. In addition, a Christian teacher needs to continue to reflect on Christ-centred learning so that students can come to know Christ more and more in their lives.
