Abstract

Kinerja guru adalah salah satu penentu utama dari kualitas sekolah. Namun, pekerjaan guru memiliki tekanan yang tinggi yang dapat menyebabkan stress, dan dapat mengurangi kinerja dari guru. Karena itu, penting dilakukan penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru, seperti kepemimpinan dan efikasi diri, serta bagaimana efek stres terhadap pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada guru-guru SMP dan SMA Sekolah Kristen XYZ. Kemudian data diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 4, dengan menguji validitas dan realibilitas terlebih dahulu, serta uji hipotesis kemudian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan hamba memiliki pengaruh positif yang tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja. Namun, efikasi diri memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Stres kerja dapat berpengaruh negatif kepada kinerja, walaupun tidak ditemukan efek signifikan dalam penelitian ini. Untuk efek mediasi, stress kerja memediasi efek positif dari kepemimpinan hamba dan efikasi diri secara tidak signifikan. Maka, untuk menjaga atau meningkatkan kualitas sekolah, guru-guru perlu memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi. Sekolah dapat membantu, seperti dengan memberikan mentoring dan coaching. / Teacher’s performance is one of the main factors of a school quality. However, being a teacher generally involves a huge amount of stress, and work stress could reduce a teacher’s performance. Therefore, it is important to study more about the factors that affect teacher’s performance, such as leadership and self-efficacy, and how work stress can affect the impact of those factors. Data collection was done by giving questionnaires to the teachers of XYZ Christian high school and middle school in Bandung. Then, the data was processed using SmartPLS 4, by testing the validity and reliability first, and then testing the hypothesis. The result of this research shows that servant leadership has positive effect on performance, although not significant. Meanwhile, self-efficacy has significant positive effect on performance. Work stress can affect performance negatively, although it wasn’t found to be significant in this study. For mediation effect, work stress can mediate the positive effect of servant leadership and self-efficacy on performance, but not significantly. So in order to maintain or increase the quality of school, teachers need to have high self-efficacy level, and the school can help with that by mentoring and coaching, or other methods.
