Abstract

This study aims to identify how the measurement of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial capabilities affect entrepreneurial intention of students in the Tangerang region. The entrepreneurial intention is important for students for it is the main factor and foundation that a business can be pioneered, it is important to know whether entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial capability can influence entrepreneurial intentions. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative research approach and the sampling technique that researchers use is purposive sampling which is the type of judgment sampling. The sample used in this study were students of Pelita Harapan University, Bina Nusantara University, and Prasetiya Mulya University with a total of 311 respondents consisting of 157 men and 154 women. Data was collected through questionnaires using questionnaire papers and also Google Forms that were distributed to students at Pelita Harapan University, Bina Nusantara University, and Prasetiya Mulya University. The data processed in this study is powered by IBM SPSS 25 and SEM AMOS 24. The research results studied have the results of C.R. or T-value Hypothesis 1 (2,913) which has significant impact, Hypothesis 2 (1,809) which has no significant impact, Hypothesis 3 (6,877) which has significant impact, Hypothesis 4 (2,187) which has significant impact, Hypothesis 5 (7,779) which also has significant impact, Hypothesis 6 (4,993) which is has significant impact, Hypothesis 7 (2,307) which is has significant impact, Hypothesis 8 (1,850) which has no significant impact and Hypothesis 9 (0,803) which also has no significant impact. The conclusion from the results of this study can be seen that Hypotheses 2, 8 and 9 are not significant, which are the influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy as a mediating variable between entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions, the effect between entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intentions and the effect between capabilities on entrepreneurial intentions. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana pengukuran dari pendidikan kewirausahaan dan kapabilitas wirausaha berpengaruh terhadap intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa wilayah Tangerang. Intensi berwirausaha merupakan hal yang penting bagi kalangan mahasiswa karena menjadi faktor utama suatu usaha dapat dirintis, sudah merupakan hal penting untuk mengetahui apakah pendidikan kewirausahaan dan kapabilitas wirausaha dapat berpengaruh terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang peneliti gunakan adalah purposive sampling yaitu tipe judgement sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Bina Nusantara, dan Universitas Prasetiya Mulya dengan total mencapai 311 responden yang terdiri dari 157 pria dan 154 wanita. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan kertas kuesioner dan juga Google Form yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa - mahasiswi di Universitas Pelita Harapan, Universitas Bina Nusantara, dan Universitas Prasetiya Mulya. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu olah data analisis dengan IBM SPSS 25 dan SEM AMOS 24. Hasil penelitian yang diteliti memiliki hasil C.R. atau T-value Hipotesis 1 (2,913) signifikan, Hipotesis 2 (1,809) tidak signifikan, Hipotesis 3 (6,877) signifikan, Hipotesis 4 (2,187) signifikan, Hipotesis 5 (7,779) signifikan, Hipotesis 6 (4,993) signifikan, Hipotesis 7 (2,307) signifikan, Hipotesis 8 (1,850) tidak signifikan dan Hipotesis 9 (0,803) tidak signifikan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Hipotesis 2, 8 dan 9 tidak signifikan, yaitu pengaruh entrepreneurial self-efficacy tidak secara signifikan namun positif memediasi pengaruh antara entrepreneurship education terhadap entrepreneurial intention, pengaruh antara pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap intensi kewirausahaan dan pengaruh antara kapabilitas terhadap intensi kewirausahaan.
