Abstract

Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformed (ChatGPT) is a form of AI implementation, specifically Chatbot from Open AI that runs on a language model architecture. It was first launched on November 30, 2022. ChatGPT has become a new phenomenon and has been integrated into nursing education. The use of ChatGPT in nursing education has had several positive impacts, but its use has also caused controversy, including ethical considerations. This study aims to explore the ethical considerations of using ChatGPT in nursing education. The method used is a scoping review using PRISMA-ScR guidelines by collecting literature from PubMed, MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar and WILEY databases. The articles obtained were 2,612 articles and those that met the results of the inclusion criteria were six articles. Exctraction titles, abstracts, and full text were independenltly performed using Covidence. Data were extracted and analyzed using a thematic approach to the articles that have been obtained. The results of the research from six selected articles showed six themes of ethical considerations for the use of ChatGPT in nursing education; ethics of academic integrity and originalty; information, accuracy, and reliability; privacy, data protection and security; bias, discrimination, and fairness; transparency and accountability. The conclusion of this study is that nursing students and nursing faculty must ensure that the use of ChatGPT both in the scope of clinical and theoretical learning, does not violate the principles of nursing ethics and professionalism. Future research needs to be developed comprehensive ethical guidelines for the use of ChatGPT in nursing education./ Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi AI khususnya Chatbot dari Open AI yang berjalan pada arsitektur model bahasa.
