Abstract
Asia Mega Mas in Medan, once a bustling hub known as China Town and especially crowded during Chinese New Year, has recently seen a sharp decline in visitors. This drop has hurt small entrepreneurs, many of whom lack confidence and motivation to innovate or offer unique products. Most vendors sell similar items like food, clothes, and toys, treating their businesses as side jobs rather than serious ventures, which limits growth and customer appeal.
The population used in this research was all 91 food and beverage entrepreneurs in Asia Mega Mas Medan. Due to the population of only 91 entrepreneurs, the sampling technique uses a saturated sample where the entire population will be used as the research sample. Data is measured by validity and reliability test. The data is analyzed using SPSS 26.00, the research model is being tested using normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity test. The data also tested with linear regression, multiple linear regression, and coefficient of determination test, then hypothesis test are done with F-Test and t-Test.
The study shows that Self efficacy (tcount = 2.385 > ttable = 1.986, sig. = 0.000 < 0.05) and Entrepreneurial Motivation (tcount = 2.385 > ttable = 1.986, sig. = 0.002 < 0.05) both have a positive and significant effect on Business Success at Asia Mega Mas Medan. Additionally, the combined effect of Self efficacy and Entrepreneurial Motivation is significant (Fcount = 51.437 > Ftable = 3.09, sig. = 0.000 < 0.05).
To enhance business success, it is recommended that business owners improve their self efficacy by participating in entrepreneurial decision-making workshops that simulate real-world business scenarios. Additionally, entrepreneurial motivation can be strengthened through vision-building sessions that help define clear long-term goals, purpose, and legacy. To further support business success, comprehensive training programs focusing on resource mobilization and identifying potential funding sources should also be developed and delivered./Asia Mega Mas di Medan, yang dulunya merupakan pusat keramaian yang dikenal sebagai China Town dan selalu ramai menjelang Tahun Baru Imlek, belakangan ini mengalami penurunan jumlah pengunjung secara drastis. Penurunan ini berdampak negatif terhadap para pelaku usaha kecil, banyak di antara mereka yang kurang percaya diri dan motivasi untuk berinovasi atau menawarkan produk yang unik. Sebagian besar pedagang menjual barang yang serupa seperti makanan, pakaian, dan mainan, serta menjalankan usahanya hanya sebagai pekerjaan sampingan, bukan sebagai bisnis utama, sehingga menghambat pertumbuhan dan daya tarik konsumen.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh 91 pelaku usaha makanan dan minuman di Asia Mega Mas Medan. Karena jumlah populasi hanya 91 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh, yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Data diukur melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS 26.00, dengan pengujian model penelitian melalui uji normalitas, heteroskedastisitas, multikolinearitas, dan linearitas. Data juga diuji menggunakan regresi linier, regresi linier berganda, dan uji koefisien determinasi, kemudian pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji F dan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Self efficacy (tcount = 2,385 > ttable = 1,986, sig. = 0,000 < 0,05) dan Motivasi Kewirausahaan (tcount = 2,385 > ttable = 1,986, sig. = 0,002 < 0,05) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kesuksesan Usaha di Asia Mega Mas Medan. Secara simultan, keduanya juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan (Fcount = 51,437 > Ftable = 3,09, sig. = 0,000 < 0,05).
Untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan bisnis, pelaku usaha disarankan memperkuat self efficacy melalui pelatihan pengambilan keputusan berbasis simulasi bisnis. Motivasi kewirausahaan dapat ditingkatkan dengan sesi pembentukan visi yang membantu merumuskan tujuan jangka panjang. Selain itu, pelatihan tentang mobilisasi sumber daya dan pencarian sumber pendanaan juga penting untuk mendukung kesuksesan usaha.
