Abstract
Learning with technology as a computer, laptop or tablet is now common as a daily learning tool at school. However, those gadgets are just learning tool. It takes a learning model that can be used in 21st-century learning. Technology integration into the curiculum is needed. The research aims to investigate the SAMR model of using iPad as a tool for learning for student’s engagement, creativity in the learning process, and a critical thinking in Sekolah Cikal Cilandak. The subject of the research are 84 grade four students. This research uses action research as a method, and uses two cycles mathematics and literacy. In each cycle, the process of collecting data is done with assessment and observation, which are measured using the observation rubric. From the results of the research can be proved that by implementing the SAMR model, learning with the iPad has an influence on student involvement, creativity in the learning process, and critical thinking. This research will be one of the sources for researchers, especially those who want to research the technological developments in education. / Belajar dengan teknologi sebagai komputer, laptop atau tablet sekarang umum sebagai alat belajar sehari-hari di sekolah. Namun, gadget itu hanyalah alat belajar. Dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21. Diperlukan integrasi teknologi ke dalam kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki model SAMR menggunakan iPad sebagai alat untuk belajar untuk keterlibatan siswa, kreativitas dalam proses pembelajaran, dan pemikiran kritis di Sekolah Cikal Cilandak. Subjek penelitian adalah 84 siswa kelas empat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan sebagai metode, dan menggunakan dua siklus matematika dan literasi. Dalam setiap siklus, proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penilaian dan observasi, yang diukur menggunakan rubrik observasi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa dengan menerapkan model SAMR, pembelajaran dengan iPad memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterlibatan siswa, kreativitas dalam proses pembelajaran, dan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini akan menjadi salah satu sumber bagi para peneliti, terutama mereka yang ingin meneliti perkembangan teknologi dalam pendidikan.
