Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang masih terjadi saat ini membuat institusi Pendidikan melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring saat ini memberi tantangan bagi guru untuk mengajar siswa tidak hanya dari segi kognitif saja, namun juga mendidik siswa agar memiliki sikap yang disiplin dalam pembelajaran. Sikap disiplin merupakan salah satu karakter yang penting untuk dimiliki oleh siswa. Hal ini agar siswa tidak melakukan hal yang menyimpang dan dapat berperilaku sesuai dengan norma, peraturan, dan tata tertib yang berlaku di kelas maupun di sekolah. Aturan dan prosedur merupakan suatu cara yang dapat digunakan guru untuk mendisiplinkan siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas virtual. Tujuan penulisan makalah praktik Pendidikan ini adalah untuk membahas upaya peningkatan sikap disiplin siswa kelas VIII pada pembelajaran daring. Hal ini terlihat dari siswa yang tertib dan kondusif pada saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang membahas lima fokus kajian yaitu sikap disiplin siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring, aturan dan prosedur pada pembelajaran daring, penerapan aturan dan prosedur dalam pembelajaran di kelas, analisis sikap disiplin siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring, analisis aturan dan prosedur di kelas pada pembelajaran daring. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan aturan dan prosedur terbukti berhasil dalam meningkatkan sikap disiplin siswa di kelas VIII pada pembelajaran daring. Keberhasilan tersebut didukung oleh fasilitas teknologi dan informasi yang memadai pada guru dan siswa. Aturan dan prosedur yang ditetapkan oleh guru di kelas berhasil membuat siswa disiplin dalam pembelajaran dan membuat pembelajaran lebih kondusif serta membuat tujuan pembelajaran tecapai dengan baik. Keberhasilan dalam mendisiplinkan siswa juga tidak terlepas dari peran seorang guru Kristen yang mendorong siswa untuk bersikap disiplin di kelas salah satunya dengan cara mengingatkan siswa akan aturan dan prosedur yang telah tetapkan untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan perilaku yang disiplin dan taat kepada aturan tersebut. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan dapat melakukan analisis mengenai cara mendisiplinkan siswa dengan menerapkan hadiah dan hukuman (reward and punishment) kepada siswa./The current Covid-19 pandemic has forced educational institutions to carry out distance learning or online learning activities. Online learning currently poses a challenge for teachers to teach students not only from a cognitive perspective but also to educate students to have a disciplined attitude in learning. Discipline is one of the important characteristics for students to have. In the learning process students are expected to behave in a disciplined manner by obeying the rules that have been set in class. Rules and procedures are a way that teachers can use to discipline students in learning in virtual classrooms. The purpose of writing this educational practice paper is to discuss efforts to improve the disciplined attitude of class VIII students in online learning. This can be seen from students who are orderly and conducive during learning. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative method that discussed five focus studies, namely student discipline in the online learning process, rules and procedures in online learning, application of rules and procedures in classroom learning, analysis of student discipline attitudes in the online learning process, analysis of rules and procedures. in the classroom on online learning. Based on the analysis of the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of rules and procedures has proven successful in improving student discipline in class VIII in online learning. This success is supported by adequate technology and information facilities for teachers and students. The rules and procedures set by the teacher in the classroom succeeded in making students disciplined in learning and making learning more conducive and making learning objectives well achieved. Success in disciplining students is also inseparable from the role of a Christian teacher who encourages students to be disciplined in class, one of which is by reminding students of the rules and procedures that have been set to help students improve disciplined behavior and obey these rules. Further research is suggested to be able to analyze how to discipline students by applying rewards and punishments to students.
