Abstract

Keaktifan siswa merupakan faktor penting dalam pembelajaran. Tingginya keaktifan siswa dipengaruhi oleh motivasi yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun dari luar diri siswa. Dalam pembelajaran siswa diharapkan berpartisipasi aktif sehingga kelas menjadi efektif dan tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Namun, pada observasi kelas K2 di salah satu sekolah Kristen Jakarta Barat ditemukan kurangnya keaktifan siswa yakni siswa tidak fokus selama pembelajaran, mengobrol dengan teman, dan tidak menjawab pertanyaan dari guru. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan peran guru Kristen dalam membimbing siswa untuk terlibat aktif dan memiliki motivasi yang benar berdasarkan kebenaran Alkitab. Guru memilih metode bermain sebagai solusi atas masalah kurangnya keaktifan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan dalam penulisan paper ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru sebagai motivator tehadap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika anak TK. Hasil penelitian adalah penerapan metode bermain membuat siswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam melakukan permainan menggunakan papan pintar. Kesimpulannya adalah penerapan metode bermain dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Oleh karena itu, saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mampu memperhatikan model pembelajaran dan penggunaan rubrik penilaian dalam upaya meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran matematika anak TK / Student activity is an important factor in learning. The high activity of students is influenced by motivation that comes from within and from outside students. In learning students are expected to actively participate so that the class becomes effective and learning objectives can be achieved. However, in the observation of the K2 class at one of the Christian schools in West Jakarta, it was found that there was a lack of student activity, namely students did not focus during learning, chatted with friends, and did not answer questions from the teacher. Therefore, the role of Christian teachers is needed in guiding students to be actively involved and have the right motivation based on Bible truth. The teacher chooses the play method as a solution to the problem of lack of student activity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the teacher's role as a motivator for student activity in learning mathematics for kindergarten children. The result of the research is that the application of the playing method makes students participate actively in playing games using a smart board. The conclusion is that the application of the play method in learning mathematics can increase student activity. Therefore, suggestions for further research are expected to be able to pay attention to learning models and the use of assessment rubrics in an effort to increase student activity in mathematics learning for kindergarten children.
