Abstract

Motivasi belajar adalah penggerak untuk mendorong siswa dalam melakukan pembelajar. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan bahwa 23 siswa dari 36 siswa yang terlihat memiliki motivasi yang rendah. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan metode Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Siswa merupakan ciptaan Tuhan yang Imago Dei, akan tetapi telah jatuh kedalam dosa dan melakukan perilaku yang melenceng dari kehendak Allah. Allah telah memberikan anugerah penebusan yang memampukan setiap siswa untuk melakukan kehendak Allah. Hal tersebut juga didukung oleh filsafat antropologi, yang menyatakan bahwa manusia sebagai Imago Dei harus menyatakan gambar Allah dalam kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, penerapan Numbered Head Together menjadi salah satu langkah untuk memperbaharui siswa di dalam kelas khusunya dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajarnya. Penerapan Numbered Head Together dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan memperlihatkan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan motivasi siswa khusunya pada langkah penerapan yang keempat dan kelima. Saran bagi setiap guru adalah melakukan persiapan dengan baik serta memahami langkah-langkah penerapan Numbered Head Together di dalam pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan/Learning motivation is the driving force to encourage students to do learning. In the research conducted, it was found that 22 out of 36 students who seemed to have low motivation. The purpose of writing this final project is to describe the application of the Numbered Head Together method to increase students' motivation in learning mathematics. The writing method used is descriptive qualitative. Students are God's creation Imago Dei, but they have fallen into sin and do the behavior that deviates from God's will. God has given the gift of redemption that enables every student to do God's will. This is also supported by the philosophy of anthropology, which states that humans such as Imago Dei must represent the image of God in life. Therefore, the application of Numbered Head Together is one step to renewing students in the classroom, especially in increasing their learning motivation. The application of Numbered Head Together in learning mathematics has shown that there is an increase in student motivation, especially in the fourth and fifth implementation steps. Suggestions for every teacher are to prepare well and understand the steps for implementing Numbered Head Together in the learning that will be carried out.
