Abstract

The success of the learning process in school is largely determined by teachers and staff as educators. But these successes can not be separated from the role of the head of school. The head of school is role to build and develop the talented people in the school, create a conducive school climate and provide the opportunities for employees to innovate and to be able to take risk in face the difficult situation. This study is aims to determine the servant leadership of the head of school and its impact on the school climate and the employee’s Self-efficacy at Sekolah Dian Harapan Cikarang. Data is collected by questionnaire and using Partial Least Square method (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results of this study indicate that the servant leadership of the head of school has a positive impact on the school climate with a significance valuel of 2,253. The servant leadership of the head of school does not affect the employee’s Self-efficacy with significance value of 0,152, and school climate have a positive impact on the employee’s Self-efficacy with significance value of 3,095. / Kesuksesan proses belajar mengajar yang ada di sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh guru dan staff sebagai tenaga kependidikan. Akan tetapi keseluruhan keberhasilan tersebut tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peranan Kepala Sekolah. Kepala Sekolah berperan membangun dan mengembangkan orang-orang berbakat yang ada di Sekolah, menciptakan iklim Sekolah yang kondusif serta memberikan peluang kepada karyawan untuk berinovasi dan mampu mengambil resiko dalam menghadapi situasi-situasi sulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan yang melayani Kepala Sekolah dan pengaruhnya terhadap iklim Sekolah dan Self-efficacy karyawan di Sekolah Dian Harapan Cikarang. Data diperoleh melalui kuisioner dan pengolahan data menggunakan Metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah yang melayani berpengaruh positif terhadap iklim sekolah dengan nilai tingkat signifikansi 2,253. Variabel kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah yang melayani tidak mempengaruhi Self-efficacy karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,152, dan variabel iklim Sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap Self-efficacy karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi 3,095.
